last i heard brighton was bought out by burton. and theres going to be some changes. anyone else hear this? is this true?

No new manager, jared still there. they were bought out by an investment group out of florida that owns lots of golf courses and other non snow things. I guess they wanted to diversify their portfolio. park on milly? haven't heard anything about that. would be fun on the evergreen side of things. or the old evergreen side of things.

All I know is that they did indeed put the new Milli high speed quad in, and took out the evergreen lift and millicent doubles. It would be sick to put the park on the evergreen side of things. that would be such a sick area of the mountain.

that fuuuuckin suuucks. Brighton better be the same when I get back. Sooo layed back. I lovvved it. And night skiing word. I duno maybe it will be better I just love the place the way it is.

Me being there? hahah thanks man. If I was in Utah this year I would be up there all school week after school and shit. But now that Im abroad just for this season I can't. But when I return Ill be getting a week day/ night pass to brighton.

same people that own Sunday River i believe...look at all the good things they're doing over there! i mean who doesn't love the idea of a Chondola! alternating between 6-pack chairlifts and an 8-person gondonlas on the same cable. and the best part of that idea is the fact that they're putting it from the eextremely beginner area up to one of the gnarlier areas (maine gnarly). good work these people do!

no skiing yet, but Ill be living in CHamonix in the french alps for 6 weeks and will be skiing everyday for that time. Then Hood when I get home. But thats it... You gonna do more preseason this yeat at brighton?

Doesn't boyne own sunday river now? Because boyne already owns brighton, and all boyne did to big sky when they bought it (about 4 years ago?) the park just go worse every day, and the tourism got worse too...

sounds pretty sick...but yeah, I am kinda mad I missed out on all the preseason. first snow I am going up, and then every week after that.

what what whaaaatttttt---------Dude do u even like girls... B- town is all about skiing with girls at night.. DUH!

too bad its brighton and they will put the opertunity of getting a sick park over at milli to waste it will probably be identical to the 06 07 season

Anyone remember like 6 or 7 years ago when they had the booters over on Milly. I didnt ride much back then, but I know they were there.

Wooord soo sick. They should just turn the milly side into like a Boreal. Wheere that whoole side every groomed run would just be covered with jibs and jump lines and all that. But brighton style. Would be sooo sick. But then again that would mean no park for night riding... soo hmm nvm. Maybe keep the park the way it is...

i don't think anyone has a real grasp on what kind of man labor is required to keep a money park........ It snows quite a bit up there and the wind blows hard too... This shit is made out of snow, not wood or concrete........ I don't have any real point-----

I suppose its just terrain parks are taken for granted....

I under stand that... but sometimes they do shit that requires a lot of effort, and they do it terribly. Like, Why would you build a reallly shitty kicker when you can build a good one. Or put a rail in the snow, but not build a kicker the entire time it's up. They could make a ballin' part if they maintained what they put up, and didn't put up so much silly little shit that is worthless.

and there lazy ass snowboarder park crew builds weird ass jibs which are really easy for snowboarders to get on but not so fun for skiers and half the time candy land sucks my o my was also shit this year but some of the pros of brighton are just the layed back atmosphere no tourism and everyone there is pretty chill

But Brighton doesn't give the resources to their park staff to keep up the parks they have right now, let alone bigger ones. They don't have a big fleet of snowcats at their disposal, and they are lucky if they have someone in the cat they get that knows his/her way around a park. So until the resort steps up and throws some money into proper resources, it will stay the same. Which isn't all that bad. It's nice to just go and chill and dink around.

Yeah whatevvver. Brighton is perfect the way it is. The rails are a blassst and totally footy worthy and the jumps are well okay. but so what if they aren't the best. The jib line in candyland is sooo much fun especailly when they had all the urban style setups keep it real brighton!

They're putting in a couple new rails but nothing spectacular. They said they can't have big sweet jumps because of liability issues. Brighton is gay, don't go there.

no...if we tell them it is good then it will lose its nice atmosphere, and become a park city...so yeah, don't go to brighton. It's gay.
