Chads gap

nah course not- people accept the risks when they ski. i can't understand why the american ski patrols bother with closed terrain at all..
 
you can't really close it down because the jump isn't actually usually there, it only gets built when people want to hit it and the people who do are usually good and aware of the risks
 
Yeah president Bush ordered an attack on Chad's Gap because he thought terrorists where planning a meeting there.
 
When someone gets hurt, i think they normally go up and blow up the kicker. And the landing itself is old mine tailings... just a huge pile of sand, so blowing that up would just be silly.
 
The whole deal about blowin up the jump is that the patrol lets them hit it, but they have to tear down the jump so no idiots that cant ski try and do it, and blowin the jump up, just makes taring it down easier, or something like that
 
i think it's on like state land so it cant really be closed? or is that acualy alta's land? idk iv'e been there i just dont know
 
unfourtanetly alta did blow up the jump. alta ski resort owns grizzly gulch, for thier cat skiing. patrol bitched at me and my buddies becuase we yelled at the cat skiers becuase they traversed through our landing. until then I thought grizzly was not alta owned, but I was wrong. chads takes alot of time and effort to build it, they won't stop u from building it, or make u tear it down. but after tanner fucked himself they didn't want others hitting it. ostness also didn't want an easy shot for other companies cuz it was built so huge and awesome.

but bottom line, alta does OWN grizzly gulch, they will continue to allow building if everyone gets along. but I warn u, I've gotten bitched at by patrol becuase dumbfucks traversed through our landing, and they didn't even care.
 
i dont know who would close it considering that to everybody else its just an old mine, i guess its possible but i really dont think that will ever happen
 
he is who made chad's famous, dude. He was either the first or one of the first to actually clear it. And he did a big d-spin over it back in the day
