Chad's Gap?

they blow up the lip in the movie Teddy Bear Crisis , not the landing. (its in the credits of the movie.) But i think they always ruin the lip so noone will hit it if they arn't good enough.
 
that would be stupid of alta. i mean just think of all the publicity they get from chads on movies, magazines, and sites like NS
 
Bella Coola heli skiing nuked that mountain that hugo crashed on in yearbook. they said it was too dangerous if a guy like hugo crashed on it.
 
i emailed Alta last night and asked them if the gap was destroyed. i think they kinda dodged the question, but here is their answer-

"No..."

take that as you will, but, and i might be reading into this too much, i think they probably didn't destroy the gap... maybe.
 
you obviously have no fucking idea how big that jump is. Seriously, think of the biggest table at COP, then times 4! Not to mention much harsher to come up short on because it's a wall. I don't know how you could get bored of it there really haven't been that many shots on it

we are at alta right now, just went up the gulch this afternoon saw about 12 jumps but chads is gone. An artillary shell from alta's ski patrol misfired and took out most of chads landing.
 
well thats really kinda gay.. i didn;t think the y would go through all that hassel just to take out one of the sickest gaps out there..
 
why would they be shooting shells in that area, isn't most of it pretty mellow? how did they hit the landing. the only possible spot they could have neen aiming is towards the inrun are but thats a long ways away
 
if alta was going to destroy chad's for being too dangerous then they would have to blow the whole damn lot of grizzly gulch. it's not part of alta's in bounds terrain, which i'm sure doesn't make them liable for anything that goes on there outside of their cat operations.
