I am curious as to whether this is true or not. I'm not sure if there has been a thread about this yet but people have said it on forums. How is it gone? Did they destoy it? What happened?

what happened was....after tanner wrecked, the alta ski patrol went up their with dynamite and tried to blow up the jump. The jump didn't budge. So, they brought a snowcat up there and plowed the jump down, so it was all flat and there was no jump. They kept the inrun all smooth and stuff, but they did blow up the landing with dynamite as well as salting it. However, The landing is still there, they just need tons of snow (which im sure they have) to fill in the holes and cover up the dirt again. Chads Gap can still be hit, no worries.

 
they moved it to finland with airplane that we can ski there everyday cause there are so much snow

i heard some kids rebuilt it at 2 am the other night ANDD put a rail in that goes across the whole gap.....haha jk, but that would be fucking awsome!!

After T-Hall's crash, Alta ppl dynamited the landing giving them no snow and filled in the gap with the snow so basically all the footage ur gunna get from this season is done, and even if the landing gets some more snow it won't look very impressive

 
i dont understand why they blew it up just cuz tanner got hurt. i mean he was doing a switch 9 and screwed up.

I was up in Grizzly about a week ago and Chad's is definitely still there. The jump is gone, but that can be rebuilt. If patrol dynamited the landing it just took the snow off of it and it has been covered up again by the snow we've had since then. The gap has not been filled in, either.

Chads gap is considered to be on Altas property, Since Alta runs the grizzley gulch cat skiing, thats why the patrol blew it up.
