Chacos

To all the outdoorsy people who like to camp, kayak, etc., do any of you have those eco-friendly hipster friends that wear chacos? I honestly can't understand why people wear them. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and all, but am I the only one who thinks they look like jesus sandals?

Never thought of them as Jesus sandals, but I guess I can see that. Just a real comfortable, durable sandal with a different way of strapping them on that works way better than other sandals I've had. Used to always get blisters with my Tevas, but the Chacos fit so well there are basically no rub points, so I've never had blisters with mine. And there's no velcro to wear out, which always happened with the Tevas.Only use them on the river swimming/floating, but they're solid and feel like they'll last forever.

I completely understand if you're a river guide or sommat, but just going into town to pick up milk... in jesus sandals, I just don't see the attraction.

I thought this was a misspelling and would be about

idk if it's bc i'm eating Chipotle right now but i honestly thought someone invented a new food

from a taco and something else that starts with a "ch" lol

I guess they would be appropriate if you were fishing, hiking on the beach etc, but not in a town just walking around IMO

I just made this thread for confirmation to see if I was the only one that didn't think they're hideous, ha

But i understand

haha same. I came to this thread expecting some sort of new craze that was gonna sweep the nation like planking or coning except with chaco tacos

Chacos are the shit. They are the ideal river shoe. Make sure you go with the pros though, it's the only model with a good sole for river/water activities.
