Chaco Sandals?

So summer is here and I really need a new pair of sandals. I know a bunch of people who have Chacos and they all swear by them. BUT, they're super expensive and i'm real poor right now. Are they really that comfortable? Any suggestions for something thats on the same level but a little less coin? I'm looking for a real sandal, not flip flops. something I can go hiking and stuff in and really beat up.

i would go for a pair of birkenstocks any day. Sucks in the beginning but once that leather molds to your feet they are AMAZING

i've been wearing my chaco's for about a year and now they're like the only thing i hike in unless i'm backpacking. they can be mad comfy, but the rubber footbeds will make the bottom of your feet sweat like crazy. thus you also have to clean them out on occasion if you don't feel like stinking up literally the entire room you're in when you take them off. aside from that one probably i would suggest them to you if you want to beat the shit out of a sandal. not to mention that they will replace the webbing and the soles for free.. at least that used to be the promise.

Lifetime warranty, made in Colorado, extremely durable, great for hiking, swimming, etc. They can be resoled or rewebed. One of the best purchases I've ever made, worth every penny.
