anyone know with the new owner now if itll be actually good this year? like will they actually have bigger than 40ft jumps? and stepdowns, not gay ass tables? i really hope its good, i cant get up to stevens this weekend : ( so ill be there all weekend
 
typically, central has more tables, while step downs will be over at west. central has a lot of good flat areas for tables.

sounds like its gonna be set up pretty good for the weekend though.

Central's park should be pretty $$ for opening. There's plenty of snow and the guys up there know what they are doing for sure. Last I heard, they had big plans for the kick off which I think is Friday. Snoqualmie is definitely on their game.
 
doesnt matter, if you dont belong to sno-compton stay the fuck out. we arent very welcoming. you know who you are if your in snocompton. and so dont claim it if your not, so, um, i see 2 people that are in it i believe, so i expect noone else on this thread to claim. fuckers.
 
didnt the people who own whistler and a buncha other places buy snoqualmie like last year? thats y they werent really worrying about the money loss from last year, and they have all those new snow blowers n stuff?
 
snocompton is part of boothcreek which owns Northstar, Sierra at Tahoe and some other resorts in the midwest or back east.

they got a cbow rail thats fucking ill, except i pulled my neck muscle trying to 360 across it today

the jumps were weird as shit, but the rails and boxes were dandy, better than stevens. that cbow was an absolute delight
 
yea that first jump was a kind of a mini road (cat track) gap... kinda liked it

and it sucks that lower jump was closed

Whats up with all this snowcompton stuff. Seems to me there a bunch of gangstas who think there good enough to kick everyone else out of the park. Its a lot more chill at Baker.

not sure where you got that impression. we don't kick anyone out of the park. it's all about the crew you ride with, and we've got a gang of niggas that are down for snocompton. talk shit in our presence, mauer will be coming for you. that's it.
 
the jump at the bottom was open for a while. but it was stupid if you had any speed going off of it you would pretty much land in the flats. once i had finally figured out how slow i needed to go off of it to not die, they closed it. the landing is way too steep and the jump is way too close.
 
whoa, that cbo rail was crazy i saw it today, they were working on it and shit. overall i like the park though lotsa new rails/boxes.
 
the toll bridge is the sickest jib i've seen in a long time. it's so futuristic looking, it's crazy. i'm thinking that it'll be in magazines and movies this year.
 
its a giant mega box thing.

Picture a rainbow box, but like 70 feet tall, with no inside so you could stand underneath it. (not actually that tall). Then add an inclined face on either side, and flair either end.

Hard to picture I'm sure, but its amazing, and I haven't even seen it set up yet, just in the parking lot!
