The one I've seen didn't need any rappeling into, it was just off the bike trail. I wouldn't doubt there is more though.

They release all summer, but a summer release is about 7-800 cfs which is about 3 feet and kinda fun in a kayak. End of year they dump a big release for the real boaters not summer raft gapers from NYC or Philly. September releases are around 2500 cfs and maybe 6 feet or so, much more fun in a raft.

It could be done in august but unfortunately I'm busy all of august except this weekend. I'm not sure of the price of renting a raft either.

Yeah we did. It was fucking awesome. We actually rappelled down two of them, then there were two others where rappelling wasn't necessary. I'm sure there were several others we missed. I can try to upload the footage to youtube in the next couple days if I find the time.
