i bet it would make i easier to 180 in backcountry but is it worth it to sacrafice the control?

NO.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Jeff: Hey Geoff, did Ronny tell you not to wear any boxers so he could rape you better?

Geoff: No, I just put my boxers on backwards so the hole is in the back...it's alot easier that way.

'I'm in his nigger crew' (my little brother in response to my statement that he was in my 'digger crew')

'My knee hurts' (Jeff Merat after grinding a lunch table for an hour instead of sitting in the ski patrol shack for his torm mcl and acl which he got earlier that day.)

'I'm not asking for any help, just maybe for you to get off your ass.'(my dad)

you have to be kidding they must want you to have a bad time. 1 inch back from center (modern or forward line) is as far back as you should go. Balance the ski on your finger and don't go further than 2 in back from that. If you french fry when you are supposed to pizza you are gonna have a bad time.

Duffman can't breathe .. oh no

something to keep in mind is that Seth Morrison had recomended on the K2 forums that people mount Pistols around +7 (where he had them mounted, for best performance). Just something to keep in mind, but I think a true center mount on most skis is like +11.

life is too short to have any regrets

from what i have heard not a good idea. for your childerns sake don't do it

If The women don't find you handsome... atleast they will find you handy

I've been a ski tech for 5 years and in many different shops. You do not mount behind the center point. If anything you go infront of the center point, which is very common.

They're talking about centermount, as in center of the ski, half way between tip and tail, not the suggested mounting point

FUCK BIGGIE

so is core center the actual exact center of the ski ? i dont no were im gonna mount my pistols core center feel's nice when i stand on em

..Seth Pistols rock my fuckin socks..

actually +7 is center mount on both PEs and Seth pistols and if your gonna refur to seths sugestion make sure you say it all.. he said he rides his at +5, and thats on a 189 ski. he said you could mount them up to center and they wou8ld still work OK. if your riding a 179 and you center mount it you will surly have a hard time keeping the tips from sinking and if you mount any pair as +11 than your a big retard unless your skiing literaly EVERYTHING

'what are you a mountainier, hes gat ropes and shit hangin off him'

actually + 7.5 is true center on all k2 factory team skis. most of the k2 riders who ride the pistols in the park (abma, mahre) ride at true center or damn near close to it. yes, you can center mount pow skis but i prolly would suggest against it. if you're riding the pistols and want to ride on em mostly in the park of for switch BC shit, i prolly would recomend + 5.

I got my BCs mounted oin the forward mounting line, and they dont seem too bad in powder. I think they are in the centre of the radius though, not of the ski. They are still slightly back from true centre.

In tractor pulls, a 'full pull' is the best you can get. Ahh, how sport mirrors life.

only thing you should even consider a true center mount for is park. Dont get it on pow skis, etc. It takes ALOT of extra effort to ski powder with center mounts.
