^^ its a myth that center mounting helps you to carve switch better...

its your form and ability...if your not carving right now, center mounting wont help....it will only make your skis looser and perform worse. Dont do it...unless you enjoy skidding around the park all day long...dont do it... move the binders foward but not center, unless the skis are designed for it...otherwise you are pushing the mounting point past the center of the sidecut's radius, thus ruining the skis performance...

true twins can be center mounted...non-true twin (MOST Park Skis) should not be...

im on invaders... so yea... ur spossed to center mount, i personally found a big difference between invaders and my (non centermouted) 1080's but that could be for any number of reasons

its the shit !!!! C-mounting

dont let ppl tell you that it fucks up your all mountain riding either its a little wierd at first but you get use to it and its feels like normal again

with center mounting you can also throw your spins a lot easier too

i got my STLs mounted at Steele's mount (like 1 cm back) and i love it. i feel way more confident spinning, riding/landing switch and all that. took me like 1/2 a day to get use to it, but im lovein' it now

i mounted my msp's in true center and they were amazing for switch, not only that but they were amazing for powder as well, pretty much anything i wanted to do on those skis with a center mount were amazing

i got my fujatives cenet mounted and i was the best thing i ever did, ya it takes some time to get used to but once you do it makes switch the funest thing ever

Center mounting is actually fine when you are skiing powder too, I haven't had a problem yet.

not nessisarilly jake...its just fine to do it....all u have to do is MAKE SURE that u fill the old holes with silicone before taking them to snow or getting them wet becasue if moisture gets to your core..u will have a rotted core by the end of the season and u might as well just throw the skis right in the garbage then

hmm, i was thinkin of buying invaders ( even though everyone else seems to be too)

but now that you bring it up, if i do not like the whole center mount thing, i cant really move them back unless buy another ski...what should i do?

you have so much control and stability when your centre mounted. get nice sized ski's though for stability. centre mounting on short skis feels strange.

i might help but unless the skis are designed to be center mounted it is completely changes the skis charteristics by a scintific stand point. it changes the the sidecut, the flex and most importantly the boot loads appled to the skis.

if you want to actully learn about these things read the physics of sking at the triple point by dave lind. it is a very intersting book

thats different though because they are supposed to be mounted center and thats wehre they will perform the best unlike a p.e. or fujative

get em at core center. its where there made to be skied. best for the butter zones and still good pretty far forward so good for rails, switch riding ect. Mine are sick in pow at center too.

Center mounting is definately worth it.

i dont see why anyone wouldn't have their skis dead centermounted.... it looks so much better and makes landings and popping and everything noticibly easier. But MORE importantly, non-center mounted skis just look gay

ok so on my fujitives, one line is core center, and one line is mid sole, so if the core center the line the ski were made to be mounted at?

should i mount my pe s center

will summer ever end it seems to get longer and longer every year.

I center mounted my PE's and i love them.

it feels like center mount just makes my turns snappier in terms of initiating, and if your a solid skier you wont slide out of your turns. Seriously, if you know how to ski you wont skid out of carrves with center mount skis, anyone who says you will is either filled with complete bullshit or cannot ski.

puttin the ummmmm in summer since 95'

^ya thats what i thought also i really liked carving on center mounted skis it just feels so cool.i think i will now

U cant just mount any ski center mount. They are made to mounted where it is best. If you want a center mount buy a ski that was made to be center mounted. Its not healthy for the fujatives to be centermounted. K2´s are mounted farther back than a lot of other skis.

^so r fujitives made to be mounted at mid sole, or at core center??

i hate how every body has different opions bout center mounting its so hard to decide. but i demoed some scratch pros back a few years ago and like them on the groomers and in the park so it seems like a win win to me.

I told my shop to centermount my fujatives but they core center mounted them, so I skiid the whole year on core center mounted skis. Im gonna get em at tru this year though.
