i had to get my 07 scratch bc's remounted yesterday and the only place the could mount at was center. will this effect me in all mountain, powder preformence...

Not at all! Its great if you want to hit pillow lines or hit BC booters. The only thing I don't like it for is when I am skiing a big mountain line thats incredibly steep...long tails aren't too helpful.

But I rarely ski big mountain; I'm more of a BC guy.

i just switched to center mount and i really like it.. super fun for skiing switch.. but i feel like i need a new pair of skis for when i wanna ski pow and stuff

I think you'll be allright. I had a trip to Utah last year and I had my center mounted skis, and I never had problem with my nose diving or anything.

Skiing in the Sierras you might have some trouble with nose dive in the really deep stuff.

I've noitced that in Colorado or Utah the snow is so light that you don't have to worry about your tips sinking so much.

The amount of dive you have will depend on where and in what conditions you ski.
