Center Mounting THall Pros

I know that with the edges being rounded in a certain area, and with the mounting line just back of center, has anyone center mounted the THall pros? Also, since they have a recommended mount point, do you think that is where Armada reccomends them and would that be where Tanner would ride them. It seems like since they are only for park, the line would be either center or where you should mount them.

I have my thahlls 2 cm back from true center i recommend that

True center would be... the middle of the ski. As in equal distance between tip and tail.

Alright, I was asking for it. I understand that, What I meant was true center vesrsus core center? I had not heard the term core center used before until the other day. So what is the difference?

Armada's recommended mounting point is damn forward on the AR5/THall. I would suggest going with that.

yeah they have some wacky flex patterns for butters and presses and stuff so if you mount them where you're not supposed to you will change the performance of the ski

unless a ski is meant for centre mounting, i suggest you don't do it. it will sacrifice the structural integrity of the ski and most likely won't be covered by warantee should the binding rip out

i think htey are made for center mounting. i have a pair but havent mounted them yet

fuck a book

yeah, we center mounted my friends Tanner Pro model, and it skis great. The whole rounded edge thing is still under your foot when you do this too.

first things first, true center would be ther center of the ski where it sits flat on the ground. since most skis have slightly different shaped noses and tails, true center would be measuring where the ski touched the ground when you are standing on it, then finding the center. the mounting mark on the t hall pro is 4.5 cm BEHIND the true center of the ski, so if you want it closer to center, move that shit up about 4 centimeters. the problem is that if you have ridiculously large boots the front of the binding might go into the changing flex pattern of the ski and make it a weak point that could break. just make sure that you have a 28 or less boot if you want to truely center mount the skis

as for the person who posted that picture, what the hell are you doing puting smith and oakley stickers on the same ski? whoops......

mount it where armada says to mount it, cause the under boot is rounded for rails and such, so there is no point of mounting them forward or back of that mark, unless you dont ski rails at all, then getting the t hall waas a big mistake

Shes gonna make coats out of us!

Rails make up most of my skiing. I simply really enjoy them. That is why I was asking. I know many riders like the benefits of center mounting, but I was wondering if it would be the same on these skis. I want them only for rails and park, so I want to set them up as good as possible.

oh yeah? well me and my friends have been bathing off the southern coast of st. bards, chilling with spider monkeys. tripping on acid gave us a whole new perspective on shit.

I think true center is mid point in length, while core center is the balance point. so true center is equal tip/tail length while core center might not be

Let us have a revolution

im kinda just guessing that because i found the balance point on my buddy's fujatives and at that point there was a mark that said 'core center'

Let us have a revolution

I mounted my T halls 1.5 centemetres back from true center and 3 centemetres forward of the arrow

I ended up talking to Tyson Hall about the skis. He said mount them where the line is. He said that is the best place and where their riders ride them. I also checked them against my old pair of 176 ar5. The mounting point on the THalls is a few cm forward compared to the AR5. So they are already a bit forward. I mounted them on the suggested line and so far I really like them.

does it work to center mount a pair of Troublemakers 175s??

think mounting them 3 cm forward of the line was a bad idea? ^^ can you ask this guy for me?
