Center mounting chronics?

there are MANY other threads on mounting chronics. some will say you already messed up the flex by not mounting at recommended so why not do center. others will say the farther you go from recommended the worse you mess up the skis (flex pattern).

i say keep them where you have them. i think where you have them is +3, the farthest i would go is +4.5

i guess that makes sense would it make that much of difference to move it all the way center on rails and would it fuck me over on jumps

it probably wouldnt make that much of a difference. you should be fine how you have it. i would only mount skis center if they were meant to be mounted there. keep in mind that many pros ride around -1.5

mostly its about preference.

ive got the chronics too and i have them set back 2. the recommended is back 6. but even tho its not a symetrica ski it has a symetrical flex pattern. they wont carve as well at high speeds and groomers but it doesnt absolutely fuck up the ski cuz they are built wit a symetrical flex pattern.

I know a lot of people that have their Chronics center mounted...it will probably take a few runs to get used to, but it will feel great on rails and shouldn't hinder you on jumps at all.

Except when you're approaching and carving off the jumps and they suck, but other than those unimportant things it won't make much of a difference on jumps.

Keep them where you have them, going farther forward will noticably change the carving(in a bad way) and will barely change the whole swing weight thing...
