Center mounting 1080's?

I mounted my 1080's (04/05) at recommended. They're short for me, so I thought mounting them forward would absolutely destroy their all mountain capabilities.

Has anyone center mounted their 1080's?

Or, if you've mounted them at recommended, do you like how they ski?

I'm finding it pretty difficulty to carve switch. Maybe cause the skis are short.

Comments please.

haha it seems like you dont get responses to ur questions ever.

but yeah i think that center mounting them would kill the all-mountain possiblity..

i have my 01 (the blue ones) center mounted, i dont know what that is, somewhere between +7 and +9, but i would not do it again. i would go close, probably -1.5 to -2.5 back from center, but not on center exactly. you'd hardly notice a difference for swing weight, and when you do ski forward, its just a little bit easier.

keep it in mind this is my opinion only. these aren't my strict park skis, I also use them early/late season and do ski forward more than i do backwards, so yeah, just something to think about.

dont center mpount them. 1080s are not meant to be. go +4 or 5 from original mounting point. i ride the 05 1080s their and thy sitll are descent for the all mountain
