i ski about 50% park and about 50% all mountain. where i normally ski is a small bump in southern WI the skis that im looking at buying are either 06 scratch fs in 167 or 168 watevr the size is or 06 karmas in 169

you ski GG. you wont ever ski powder around here often enouhg, GG sucks. Im assuming u will be in the park, then YES center mount.

he skis at fucking grand geneva.a hill about 20mins away from IL!!! The hill has less than 200ft of vertical. We dont get "pow" days there. The longest run takes 5 secs to go down. the biggest chair is a double. the park has PVC rails and shitty jumps!! GO CENTER.

we ski ontario man...same shit.

i think anything less then 70 percent park shouldnt be centered...forward from trandition mount but not centered

there isnt a whole lot of downhill but it consits more of chasing friends around the mountain in huge games of tag or something, but i do about 70% carving forward, and 30% carving switch on the "mountain" outside the park currently i have 1080s mounted normal so i didnt know if true center would be a big difference

well since we dont have a big use for switch carving except for fun, the jumps you dont need to really carve into, so prolly forward carving, but if core center makes forward carving a little more challenging thats ok, ill still have a pair of twins mounted at the normal spot so i could always use them if i wanted to just carve for a while

you are really starting to piss me off. you have no idea what the conditions are like in the midwest and you still give somebody WHO LIVES IN THE SAME FUCKING PLACE shit for giving advice that would be better than yours because he acually has experience. dont talk so much shit you arent the einstein of the skiing industry you dont know as much as you think you do

ill prolly go core center, then i can ski switch better than i can now with my 1080s mounted normal, but ill keep the 10's for days out of the park

good idea. chances are that you will end up rocking the center mounted skis outside one the groomers too. Maybe ill see you at GG this season.

if ur at grand much, ill have some lime 1080s from 03 (i think im the only kid with them) i prolly wont get the karmas until after the season around he so i can use them in Co over spring break

i ski like 40% park and 60% groomers/allmountain

can i mount my tm's between center and designated spot?

hey man, wisconsin skiing doesn't reqiure any serious highspeed carving, if you plan on rails and spinning, go center, the penalty for that is small on a small hill whre you won't be on very long runs, because odds are you get a few turns per run. if you don't plan on doing rails, mount them regular or a hair forward.
