my mom heard about people sending nude pictures of themselves around and now shes threatening to disable my phone's picture capabilities

is this even possible, if so how?

is it possible? yes. (at least with most carriers) Is your Mom tech savvy enough to be able to do it? probably not. Will they do it if she call's and bitches? probably not. You've got to get pretty deep into some stuff to be able to disable features like that and I'm sure most of the customer service reps in India who are answering the CService calls won't know how to do it.
