im in a pickle i dropped my phone in the shitter but it still turns on but the buttons don't work does anyone think there is a way to fix it, or if you have an old one lying aroundi could maybe purchase it

If you have a warranty it's covered. They told me when i called Verizon they said that's the number one filed claim

i had the same thing, but i just let it out to dry and it worked fine after a day or two.

Even if you did have insurance i don't know if they would cover it. I've heard that phones usually have a water damage indicator sticker and that most coverages do not warranty water damage because they assume that it was the fault of the user for getting it wet. Thats what i heard anyways. Best of luck.

stick your phone in rice it absorbs moisture better than a fucking shamwow. well maybe not but it worth a shot

our put it in a rubbing alcohol bath for a couple seconds, then leave it out to dry. it will evaporate the water much easier.

my brother needed a new battery or phone or something, turns out that sticker said there was water damage. so he went back home, made a little sticker to put over it, and brought it in to another verizon store. he got a new phone
