Dear Canada, thanks for the sweet news report, very classy. I wish we'd get a report like this on US tv.

Rex Murphy is the man. I havn't always agreed with his opinions but there are few others in Canadian media wo are able to communicate so profoundly wtih that kind of conviction on a particular subject. I agree 100% with him on this one. Well done.

That was fantastic, Rex always creeped me out a little bit from his weird eye but nonetheless he knows his politics to the letter.

I watch the CBC news every night for the news. It is the most unbiased news network in north america and they always talk about things that really matter to us.

That's another thing I like about CBC as a whole, they have so many programs like the Mercer Report, Royal Canadian Air Farce and This Hour Has 22 Minutes that make fun of the CBC so much, and the CBC doesn't mind.

What a cool dude.

I hope America is learning a lot about itself throughout this election process. I can't wait to see where it goes.

Do Canadians really follow American politics that closely?

I found it really strange that this guy thought of Hilary Clinton as the front runner. I feel like the only person with less chance at winning the presidency than a black man is a woman.

well the entire world follows american politics.

I wouldn't say, its a huge part of our news, but american politics normally are briefly updated in Canada. In the end your guy's future has a major impact on us.

I love CBC news, I find all others are crap compared to it. Its got a classy feel to it, whenever I watch ABC, CNN or Fox I feel like its poorly made and government ran compared to CBC.

Since the creation of the FTA in the 80's, Canada and the US have formed the largest trade relationship in the world.

Why wouldn't we folow your circus...err...politics?

umm isnt CBC run by the government?

and of course canadians follow american politics closely, look at all the sections of cnn where they read viewer mail. you get some people from canada writing.

ahhhhhh, Rex Murphy is so friggin awesome. I dont care what hes saying, i believe him. its good he doesnt sell anything cause id own it all.

it's priorities, we really don't see much value outside of our borders when you're suposedly the 'greatest nation in the world' why bother learning about others?

(this is not my view)
