Causwell not legit?

Well, I thought I had heard good things about them, seen a few people reppin' the outerwear, but it's been over 2 weeks now since I ordered my gear.
This makes me wonder, are they not legit? Where are my tall t's and hats at? Even if I hadn't payed for shipping they should be here already.
What's up with this bros? And if you're reading this causwell, ship my stuff!

Maybe it's acceptable when dealing with small grassroots companies, but the least they could do is keep me updated. There were some issues with one of my level one orders but I got word from a Level 1 rep and it got sorted out quick like.

hey man give them a break. Trust me they are as legit as it comes. everytime i go in the store i feel like i need to buy something because the guys there are so chill and as kind as it gets. Don't worry your shit will come

and the least you could do is call them and try to get it sorted out instead of turning here first and making a thread that makes them look bad.

people need to learn to make an actual effort in getting their shit before making threads like this.

are you really trying to say that this should be expected? just because the company is related to the ski industry doesn't excuse poor business practices.

hes saying people need to stop making callouts when they havnt even taken the time to try to sort it out themselves. you hardly put forth the effort to figure it out yourself, you just came here and started whining when you could probably have it straightened out by now had you called them in the first place...

You've been waiting 2 weeks shut the fuck up. If 2 months go by, and you don't have your shit, then you can complain. But 2 fucking weeks? Gimme a break.

all youve said is that you don't have anything since you ordered two weeks ago and haven't gotten a response on an email

do you expect an email everyday telling you whats happening? Ive bought a lot of stuff online and nobody does that, hell some companies dont even give you a shipping code if you dont ask for it so we can't help you if we dont know the details you just assume we know the situation already

I made my order on the 27th of november, this year. On the same day, I placed an order with Backcountry.com, Dogfunk.com (backcountry's brother site), Level1 Productions, and Causwell. I recieved order confirmations from all four sites.
My backcountry and dogfunk orders were recieved the following week, four days later. I payed for two day shipping.
My order with level 1 went exactly 1 week before I heard from them, at which time one of their reps let me know that the tee I ordered was out of stock, and if there was anything i'd rather have. I ended up picking the next size up. I recieved the shipping confirmation that day.
It has been 16 days now since I have heard from causwell, and 8 days since I sent them an email asking what's up.
You may call me impatient and helpless, but I think it's just shoddy business practices to go a whole two weeks without even processing a customers order.

i call you impatient because you made this callout thread way before you should have. And I call you helpless because you can't seem to be able to give them a call to find out what's up.

You seriously couldn't call them during business hours first. I mean they put their phone number on the front page of the website. I would guess that if you called them they could help you out. Not to mention Backcountry/Dogfunk is a huge company while Level 1 and Causwell are run by a few people. Chill out I'm sure you will get your stuff but call before you make a call out thread.

If i'm paying a premium for my clothing then why can't I expect premium service. I could have just as easily driven to the mall and bough 5 tall t's for the same price at foot locker or dicks sporting goods. If they want to expand their customer base then they need to be able to adequately meet the needs of those who they off their service to.
If it really is THAT small, like one college kid operation or somesuch, then he/they should at the very least drop me an email letting me know what has taken so long.
The only reason for the delay in the service speed with level 1 was because I attempted to order an out of stock shirt.

Do you see what I see?

They are a smaller start up company and just launched the website recently.. and im sure with holiday crunch it is easy for something to go overlooked while trying to get into the swing of an online ordering and payment system! the majority of what i have heard about causwell has been really positive! so like others have said i would call during business hours and work it out! most small companies are really cool to work with and are generally more than happy to stoke you out and make you want to come back!

If you are still looking for you Causwell stuff to be sent give them a call because I guess they had problems with their computers. They were changing computers and a lot of info was messed up. At least that it what they told me. I had a hoody ordered for me as a xmas present which didnt come. They found that the order was messed up and offered us $75 for something that was $40. Stoked.

You can make a pretty good case for both sides on this. On one hand, they are a new company and you also haven't called (which would probably ellicit a better response). On the other hand, you are right - it doesn't matter who they are, two weeks is not acceptable if you paid for the speedy shipping. I find it hilarious that there are so many kids who jump to their defense, just like Saga, who has had horrible professionalism with shipping and response time. Most of the people responding in defense of Causwell have never run a business or lived in a time dependent world because they are high school or college students. But I will tell you that not responding to an e-mail for over a week and not shipping for a few is a bad business practice. Call it a 'start-up company', but you should iron out the details before you 'start up'.

In the end I am sure they will get you your stuff. Sounds like they made this guy^ happy, so I bet they will make you happy as well. I hope they get it together, their stuff in the 2011 gear thread looks pretty sick.
