Some professional poker player (Paul Buntin) was caught in my town a couple days ago with 238 pounds of weed. WTF. where did this guy get that much weed. the news report says that it was worth over $500,000 and it was all in garbage bags labeled up ready to be sold out of the back of this dudes rental car. where the fuck was this going to in colonie. we live in a pretty small town and that is a shit load of weed for this place.

RCMP accuse a Montreal businessman of smuggling 343 kilograms of cocaine through the Port of Halifax.Michel Safar, 47, was arrested Tuesday. He's scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday to face a charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.RCMP said customs officials in Halifax found the drugs in a container of 647 boxes of ceramic tiles on Nov. 9, 2009. The cocaine arrived from Venezuela, bound for Montreal. The cocaine was hidden inside the hollow tiles.Canada Border Services Agency officers and the RCMP won't say why they targeted this particular container for inspection, but they said they were suspicious of it.A search of Safar's business in December led to his arrest, RCMP said.Andrew Lefrank, director of the Nova Scotia district of the CBSA, showed off the seized drugs."These were fabricated tiles to look like a ceramic tile. And when you take off the top, within each side there would have been two cases, about 250 grams each," he said.RCMP Staff Sgt. Alan Harding said the arrest was made by an RCMP drug unit in Montreal."This person will be faced with charges of possession for the purposes of trafficking cocaine and the investigation is continuing in Montreal. Further arrests may be made," he said.Police said it took some organization to bring the drugs into the country, but they won't comment on how close to the top of that organization the man in custody is.RCMP estimate the drugs would be worth about $42 million on the street.

ive heard of people getting offered up to 5000 a trip to run shit down from canada just to my town (plattsburgh NY) where they'll move it futher south. I dont get how its not crazy suspicious going back through the border after being in canada for like 4 hours wih bags full of green.

im guessing this is just one of thoes guys.

Sad that they're smoking or they're stealing? Because I see nothing wrong with a few cops enjoying some herb. I do have a problem with them talking on their cell phones and pulling illegal u-ies in the middle of traffic.
 
that is CPD at its finest. there always bombin around our small town chasin kids with tuner cars for loud exhaust tickets and shakin down every single one of us. There always on their cell phones while their drivin around and rip u-ies everywhere. But my question about where all the weed went. There had to be a shippment before this one.......Where the fuck did it all go?
 
yea some dude I was talking to said he used to run "packages" (coke) from ottawa to sudbury and make like 8 grand a trip

i should have specified the 518 catigory spreads for the e.g.( east greenbush) down to albany.

yea but it was 400lbs , i think it was some ex pro mtn biker and her husband if i recall correctly, there was a thread on here too.

fuck were gonna come up there. albanys had its typical bullshit mids everywehre and no rly good heads. Latham had a lil bit of purp for a while and now its gone and some ppl are passin off juicy fruit as dank heads
 
I've heard of skiers moving stuff across the backside of Jay Peak into Canada and vice versa, also boats along Memphremagog, they fabricate these watertight compartments under the hull, completely invisible (unless there is a dive search which is highly unlikely).
 
Yeah prob shouldn't listen to me when it comes to counties. I'm the guy. That hits telephone poles and mailboxes that have been in the same spot all my life hahaha
 
dude small towns is where shit is always distributed from...my town in minnesota is exactly 45 minutes north of rochester and 45 min south of the twin cities...huge meeting point its crazy.
 
it's funny because SO MANY Ns'ers are from the albany capitol region. I would like to see some statistics on the location of the traffic coming into this site.

But yea, DMB concert might be a little less fun now....
 
Um i'd get shot if I lived in troy lol, I live about 45 min north of Troy. Just outside of Johnstown.
 
yeah i am pretty far north in the adk park, and we are still in the 518. and from the guy above there was a lot of bud coming down from the rez, and i am sure there still is. however there was a huge crack down on traffic up there so there may be slightly less in that account.
