Cats or dogs which is better

I'm thinking about getting a pet but i cant make up my mind about a cat or a dog, cats are easy to take care of but i think if i get one i might be called girly, on the other hand dogs are awesome but harder to take care of
 
depends on your stuation. If you're gonna spend most of the time inside with your pet then get a cat, but if you want a pet to play with outside than get a dog.
 
wolfdog. 1 it will scare immigrants more then my golden retriever and 2. the girls that think its cool/cute are the only ones id want to meet.

there are so many breeds of dog that if you want to, you can find one that is particularly low maintence. if you go to purina's website (i think), you can find a breed selector that will ask you what you are looking for in a dog as far as size, energy, upkeep, etc..., then gives you a series of matches with information for you to investigate.

 
Neither, pet's cost money and time. I don't like 90% of dogs, and soemtimes cats just piss me off. Cats are alright though, overall I like them better than dogs, but soem dogs are really sick.
 
its a common miscomseption that cats are there own species when infact they are just really gay dogs
 
Here's the thing, you own the dog, but the cat will own you. The dog will obey you, and the cat will make you obey them. Cats are little bitches.
 
get a snake there the easiest thing to take care of all you got to do is feed and water it and their tight i love my snake

or a chameleon their filthy

but id go with dog cause cats are wierd
 
i'm on probation right now because my fishtank was 4 times bigger than the allowable size for my dorm

dogs are way better companions, cats are selfish little fuckers.... you never hear any stories about how a cat ran to meow help if their owners were in trouble
 
i'd say cats. but you gotta get a big cat like a tiger so that people know you're not a pussy. no one's gonna doubt you if you walk around with a fuckin bengal tiger at the park.
 
this is kind of irrelelevant, but how sick would it be if you could breed a bear to be like the size of a golden retriever and have that as a pet?
 
dogs are dirty, they make ur place smell like shit, and you have to take them out all the time... so im gonna go with cats
 
It's just preference. I prefer cats over dogs. Plus cats are very low maintenance. Clean their shit box, give them fresh water, and feed em. Done!
 
thats cause cats are smarter than dogs...

dogs are loyal to their owner while cats are independent and think more for themselves...

I have a Chiuwawa named Rat-Dog

And a cat named Spaghetti

They are both super badass, and they like eachother...in a very gay animal way.
 
i would say if you are not home alot them get a cat they are easy to take care of but if home more and have time then i would get a dog they are a little mor fun
 
a guy down the road from me has a bear as a pet. its a full grown female black bear. shes the shit. shes all trained and lets you play with her and pet her and suff
 
I have both:

My dog is nice, I can play with him but he has so much energy that sometimes he gets very annoying.

My cat is fine too, he seems to enjoy sleeping on my clothes which always leave a huge amount of hair on them and he doesn't seem to really care about me. BUT, everytime he bails while running or bails while trying to jump on something, it's fucking funny.

Therefore I can't really decide.
 
don't be like that. having a pet isn't a chore, it's a gift and a lifestyle. I'd say definately go with a dog, because they actually are a man's best friend.
 
think about it this way:
walking a dog gives girls an excuse to come and talk to you
walking a cat gives people a reason to stay away from you
Plus dogs are way more fun
