^ do you realize that most catholics dont believe that. there are always extremists that say retarded stuff because they follow the old church. what catholisism just wants to get across is that we should just live the best lives we can. how is this wrong?

you state that the studies show 90 per cent effectivness... i dont know how many of you have taken a stat course, but i recently suffered through one, and learned about confidence levels and margins of error... in a lot of scientific studies, the data has to be so conclusive that a 90 per cent occurance is not considered statisticaly sound, and in these cases, where the data could sometimes be up to 95 per cent conclusive, the principles of mathematics deliniate that you can not claim that you have an affirmitive conclusion, only that you dont have enough evidence to conclusivley make a deterimination.

now, i dont know if this is even realevant in the popes decree, but, statistically, it may be sound. that doesnt make it right, only statistically sound.
