Categories in B/S/T

This has probably been said before, but reposts are never a bad thing in this forum. They show we want it. But I would really appreciate categories in B/S/T. Like skis, bindings, boots, goggles, etc. It is quite difficult to scroll through endless listings when I am only looking for skis (or insert any specific item here).

Maybe one day?!?!

Its a good idea but I dont think it would work that well. It would mean the you would have to make multiple threads for selling your items and make it much more difficult to track what your selling.

Or.. for each item in your thread you could tag it as a specific categorie, like we do for pictures. So I could have a thread with skis, bindings, coats, shoes etc. So if you're shopping for a specific item you can jar the option to show threads with just the selected categories.

thanks! i was thinking about it and thought that it could really work! cause you can have a catergorized b/s/t for the buyer, without the hassle of creating mutliple sale threads for the seller. so you can choose to sort the entire forum based on what you want exactly, or have the option to not sort it at all and it'll be exactly like it is now. it's a win win for those that want a brand new forum and for those who think it's fine the way it is.

Just adding a jiberish section would allow other things to the top. The thread is like 120 pages long for Christ sake, not to mention the other 20 plus jiberish sales. You want to get rid of something? Throw a jiberish t in there. guarantee your stuff will get 1000 times as many views just for having it in the title. ^ the being able to refine your search maybe something similar to craigslist is what I was imagining sounded like a kind of cool idea though. Maybe I want skis for 300-600 and skis for that much pop up haha. People would have to have more set prices though and I'm sure coding would be tough.

I wasn't thinking anything along the lines of pricing, just tagging each item with a categorie and you cam refine your viewing by categorie. Seems pretty simple to me.

A forum with a great B/S/T is acutally Silverfishlongboarding.com
