Is that show still running? I know they were getting sued like 100 million or something...I loved watching them bust those pervs and how they totally tried playing it off like oh we are just friends with a 13 yr old when they are 45 and then they have that random guy doing the voiceovers of how they would like to blank your blank while you blank my blank blank...morons.

that show is all wrong. they are arrested someone for something they havent done yet. and the girl isnt even 13. you have to ask yourself, how many 13 year old girls invite 35 year old men on the internet over to their house? maybe if the people from perverted justice hadnt lured them in, they would never get the opportunity like that.
even if you disagree with what I am saying, because at first I didnt have sympathy for these guys, think about it this way. when you are convicted of trying to have sex with a minor or whatever, you are sentenced in court. this is preemptively sentencing people without trial to humiliation on national TV.
fortunately I am pretty sure that show is done, since so many people are aware of it they havent caught anyone in a while, and also the lawsuit helped.

it's like arresting someone for conspiracy of murder, robbery, etc. it doesn't matter if they have don yet, they have sufficient evidence that the act is going to be committed. it's better to get them before a horrible thing is done than after it's done.
also, they are not luring them in. that's called entrapment, and it would result in a mistrial and the defendant would be let go with no charges. they merely place themselves in a favorable position, and let the predator instigate the conversation.

yeah i am against that though, like "intent to distribute" fuck that, I didn't know we had a bunch of mind readers on the police force nowadays?
what if one of those guys would have not gone through with it at the last minute? its like when i got caught looking at porn in 7th grade by my mom, I wanted to tell her that I hadn't actually jerked off cause I decided not to (i guess I had something else to do or I didnt feel like it) but fat chance she would believe that right? the same goes for these predators.
I dont know what to do with people attracted to children. on the one hand I see it as a mental illness, on the other hand I think you have to be scum to actually subject a child to your sexual desires. but this is definitely not the way to handle things.

That show has done more to stop online predators then any other law or action. The show is great, and needs to keep running becuse these guys WOULD have had sex with underage girls and guys.
Saying that it isnt fair is stupid, most people on that show have done that kinda thing before and have problems. Alot of the people they get have been to court for this kinda thing and either have allready got into trubble or got off free the first time. To say that it is unfair to them is looking past the fact that these men are willing have sex with way underage girls. They come ready with rubbers, weed, beer and whatever to fuck little boys and girls, and god only knows what else would do if they had the chance.
This is a huge problem that came with the internet, and there needs to be some sort of way to combat this. Sence other laws and whatever havent slowed down this kinda thing there needs to be something.
