Cat tracks?

Hey guys.

I just got me some Salomon Ghost FS 90's and I'm totally in love with the way they feel on my foot, but they don't have any rubber on the sole at all. Can someone help me pick out a pair of these things? I see the ones for when you're walking but are there also ones that stay on all the time?

Thanks

There is a way you could get some more grippy soles added but it will cost a lot and void your warrenty. You would have the current soles of the boot ground down slightly. From there you would screw the new soles on. Lastly you need to router the top part to bring it back to din norm. Honestly it's not worth it. Get some cat tracks or rocker soles for walkin around. On the hill the only time you will be slipping round is on ice and even rubber soles would not help much then. Make sure you get somthing for walking around though. Don't wear those sole out. Enjoy the boots.

Step one: Get an old pair of skate shoes.

Step two: Cut sole off of selected skate shoe.

Step three: proceed to glue to the ski boot sole

Step four:???????

Step five: Profit

€40-45, and totally worth it. I'm dropping my new boots in for the same thing shortly.

I got this done in whistler to my race boots... cost $50...

Where? A stretch is $30 so your telling me it's cheaper to get the soles ground, new soles added and the boots routered then it is to get two punches done. I'm not arguing that friends may help you out and do it cheap but in general it will cost more then $50 so to give the best info here I would not say to presume you will get it for $50.

I have some SPK's and have had the same problem. I personally wouldnt feel comfortable modifying the boot but it's up to you. The Cat Tracks work very good.
