inb4 the cat develops a heat vision mutation from the microwave radiation and can reheat dinner food with its eyes.
 
obviously, but that does not justify putting a kitten in the microwave. there will always be something that is worse or more immoral, but that does not make something like this less cruel
 
youre not getting the point. yes of course a chainsaw execution is more disturbing than a kitten in a microwave, I agree. but that still does not make this less cruel. I didnt create this thread to argue "who can come up with the most disturbing thing." putting a kitten in a microwave is seriously fucked up, and although it does not rival a chainsaw execution or something of that nature, that doesnt mean its not extremely wrong
 
Why didnt they just take the fucking cat out in between the cuts? Like god damn, its vine for that reason

Did you not mean to put the kitten in for a couple of seconds, take it out and put it back in, then use editing to make it look longer? If that's what you meant, I think it is fucked up that anyone would think it was ok to put a cat in a microwave for even a second.
 
He meant to say that they would put the cat in. Cut. Take cat out and turn on microwave. Cut. Put cat in microwave that is off and take it out. Not too complicated....
 
Just saw a post on facebook defending the two girls.... What? Can't copy and paste it right now I'm on mobile but its basically saying how mean everyone is for bullying her friends (the ones who put the cat in the microwave) and how they don't deserve it
 
Umm, ok. What someone finds more gruesome to watch is different for each person. I didn't say one act was worse or better than the other, just that I found one to likely be more gruesome to watch. I am much more desensitized to things such as chainsaw massacres than watching kittens being blown up in microwaves. I don't know why we had to compare the two though, both are horrific.

Granted the video posted was not of a kitten blowing up, and didn't show much, my post wasn't about the video posted, it was about a kitten in a microwave. I should have made that more clear.

No- I was referring to cats actually being microwaved until death. The OPs post didn't even show anything. I'm talking about microwaving cats-- I don't know if you've seen the videos but there are people who have done it to the point that the cat explodes.
 
i dont disagree with you there, i think that microwaving a cat is really fucked up but i dont think its worse then watching a human die. its all bad biz.
 
ugh. actually it was, because in both "before" and "after" clips you can see that the microwave is on and running. So when he said they should have taken the cat out in the middle clip, I thought he meant they should have just edited it to include the two clips that show in that link-- putting the cat in the microwave and having it start to run, and watching the timer reach zero and then pulling it out.

You seem to be the only one confused... What he was getting at can be inferenced. No one would bother microwaving a cat for a second, taking it out to fake a vine, and then putting it back in. You can either be a fucked up individual who microwaves the cat the whole time, or fake it completely. I don't think anyone who isn't prepared to microwave a cat for real for the whole time would do so for a second just to make a fake vine. They'd fake it completely, which is what he was getting at. Not trying to be a douche or anything, just sayin'...
 
He didn't advocate it, he was pointing out that they were dumb bitches for not thinking to do it. Like, it's Vine, that's literally what it's made for, cutting together short clips.
 
I agree that there are more gruesome videos, but radiation, and just the thought about it for me just makes me feel weird, I could imagine the long term affects on that cat
