Casual Winter Jacket Suggestion?

oh ok. because there is only one good style. no-- the thread can keep going. I don't think barbour jackets are anything special

I actually wear a saga on deck in the winter. Mine is medium so it fits really normally (not big at all) and is really comfortable

I just bought last year's Spyder Truck jacket to wear casually:

I really like it so far and got it 40% over here:

Meh, ifbyou're cold blooded you mah want something thicker but for me, with a flannel under it I would rock it in below freezing temps. Def not the thickest or warmest out there but it looks good and functions well enough for me. Was only like $100 as well.

thanks for all the helps guys, i really appreciate it. feel free to throw around anything your considering buying or just coats you think look good

I've got a columbia coat that I look pretty good in. Fits me perfectly.

Rarely wear it. Feels weird coming off of giant oversized and then wearing something fitting. I almost feel classy.

Cesare Attolini, because if you wear one of their bespoke overcoats bitches will be slobbering on your cock all day, even if it's tiny.

A heavy tweed overcoat?

Or a lat more extreme: this orange Italian overcoat, although 99% of the people will think you are a poser, the 1% that knows will bow down before you.

I have been sticking with this. Layer up some classy sweater/shirt combos underneath it. Bitches love it.

I use this one. Dont know the name but i got it pretty cheap in a sale and i love it. Its plain simple and still classy to some point. I like the taller fit and the fact that its longer in the back. Its mad puffy and warm aswell.

Under Armour Dervos jacket! Maybe I'm only saying that because I work at UA but it's a really awesome jacket that's not north face ;)

looks more techy in this picture than in person but just a simple marmot softshell. Looks good feels good

I don't know how you can hate on a peacoat. It's warm as fuck and really comfortable plus you look classy and can wear it on all occasions. (I dare you to wear shirt and tie with that armada space coat). Peacoat a will always be in style no matter what. If you think otherwise, you must be 16 years old.

I have lots of North Face stuff and have never once had a problem. Please enlighten us as to why it's not a good brand. That is, if you've cleaned up your milk already.

Bro they have no steeze and aren't long at all!!! Why would you pay tht much money for a jacket it if wasn't neon yellow and past your knees? Lol n00b

well from my personal experience northface sutff just isnt durable. ive had the fly of a tent tear off its stakes, gaping holes formed in the bottom of my pack, and a jacket which lost its waterproofing after about a month. its not like its a terrible company, but i just dont think its as good as other brands in a similar price range, like marmot.

i have this one, though im not quite as studly as this man. close..

it's a guess jacket and its warm/comfy as fuck. looks good, too.

I don't understand what's the point of soft shell jackets. Probably because I have never owned one before.. Are they just as warm as hard shell jackets?

forreal you're all wild for not saying this yet

I got my dad one for christmas last year and he loves it

I'm with Steve. For everyday, I like jackets that are warm, not obnoxiously colored, weather resistant and have features for when it gets really shitty out.

This is my everyday jacket and I love it. Millet Belay in black and grey. Softshell base, but chest area has synthetic insulation not unlike a synthetic vest that keeps you pretty toasty. Also the fit is athletic and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. I've also used it skiing in a pinch with no complaints.

The only downside is it's not super classy like a peacoat or something.

whoa whoa whoa i wear my carhartt ALL the time and I'm far from a farmer or white trash. Granted I don't wear it out in public...

but there is no denying the quality and comfort of these jackets, if youre going to be doing work outside and need something warm, extremely tough and durable pick up one of these jackets you wont regret it

I also have the carhartt coverall which I'm convinced is the warmest piece of clothing ever created by man..I seriously go out in blizzards wearing boxers and a tshit underneath this thing
