Anyone else on here pre-order the conversion kit? I’m super hyped to get mine, especially after missing all last season because of a blown knee. Hopefully lots of quality backcountry lines in my future.

What are y’all putting them on? I’m getting a pair of new Wildcats in 184 from the boys at Moment. Planning to fuck up everything in sight once I have my legs back under me.

Also, any word on when they’re gonna start shipping? Their pre-sale says “will start shipping in September” but I haven’t seen any update. Don’t want to go bothering their customer service quite yet but I hope they ship soon.

I wish CAST made plates for other bindings than pivot 18's like they used to. I'm sure this will get downvoted but I'd prefer some attacks or sth's over pivots

I’m sure the decision was a matter of logistics, their market is people who want to rip hard in the backcountry and that niche overwhelmingly prefers pivots over other bindings. Streamlining their manufacturing process probably saves everyone involved some money.

Same! No answer to your question though, just following the thread as I’m as hyped as you and I’m trying to stay patient without bothering them until it ship!

I listed my shifts on Marketplace yesterday and I’m itching to remount my pivot with CAST now

Also pre-ordered a pair! The hype is unreal...going to be mounting mine on a pair of Fat-ypus C-Zen's. Heavier touring setup but gonna be a dream on sled touring days

I ordered in late July and the late September ship date got pushed back to Oct 15th, but that’s passed and no word so far.

It can be kinda frustrating (mostly because I’m unfathomably excited) but when you’re ordering a super cool product from a super cool small company it’s something I’m willing to accept as just part of the process.

I got one on the second batch so mines shipping November but I’m stupid excited. My boss at work told me I’m forbidden to talk about if someone asks about touring bindings because he’s worried people might buy it instead of the bindings we have and we have a lot ?

I'm rocking CAST on a pair of 194 volkl confession (tha big gun) and a pair of 186 Kartel 116s (steeze machines). Sent my race boots in this fall to get tech toe inserts put in. So stoked to get out of my technica Coochise forever. Anyone want to buy 40 day old coochie 130s 25.5?

For any shops with the newest pivot jig, cast has been making an attachment for the climbing bail screw holes that makes mounting them much easier and faster.

saw it in use the other day and was very impressed. Makes my garage attempts with the sticker look like a caveman technique.
