Case Closed: If Moderate Voters See This Video, It’s Over for Obama

Whether or not you like Obama anybody with a brain knows that this shit video is just a bunch of quotes taken out of context. Some of them were extremely misleading and not even in chronological order (when they were mad to seem like they were supposed to be)

If a moderate voter actually cares and wants to learn about the election they will do some research and study the issues from legitimate sources. not by watch some flash trash pseudo-fact checking piece of shit youtube video.
 
I actually enjoyed the video. One or two might have been out of context but the majority are very cut and dry quotes. Pretty terrible if you ask me
 
There's literally hundreds of news articles, videos, etc, that I could link you (with a little work) about things that would influence your decision for, or against, Obama.

Guess what?! I could find the same shit for Romney!

Turns out that THE PERSON MAKING THE VIDEO is OFTEN BIASED. Therefore, they present their view in a way that is meant to influence people, which often is ignoring the reality of the situation.

I'm not sure who I'm voting for yet. I don't really LIKE either of the candidates. HOWEVER, I will NOT be making my decision based on a youtube video. Why? Because I'm not an idiot.

 
Seriously. They are saying that Obama care is the biggest tax hike to ever take place. Fact is. It isn't even close.
 
You have a problem with Obama because he's not transparent enough for you so you want Romney, the guy who hasn't told anyone his plans for the economy, foreign policy, S.S. security, cuts to the budget, his "revised" version of the current healthcare act, etc.?

Are you stupid or do you just ignore everything that entails facts and logic?
 
I've come to understand that the "average" voter is swayed precisely by these sound clip/quote videos, not by doing thorough research on anything. Even a little research. It's all mondo-mando power words and speeches here and there, balanced on a seesaw of two-sided media corporations. Makes me a bit sick to see it happening everywhere.
 
Cool, good one man. Another shitty youtube video. You do realize that the difference between making choices that affect you and your family (abortion) are very different than making choices whether or not to allow corporations to use cheaper ingredients (trans fats) in order to boost profit margins, that are really terrible for the health of the people that eat it? Many of those people aren't making a choice to eat trans fats based on anything besides that it's in the food that tastes good and appears cheaper. Most people don't even know what that shit does to your body over time.

It's like saying "OK, so you believe that people should be able to CHOOSE what color they paint their living room, but you don't believe that people should CHOOSE whether or not to filter the pollutants coming from their copper smelting smokestacks?" Of course that's a large departure from the issues of lightbulbs and processed foods, but it follows the same logic.

Besides the error in logic - You do also realize that in the making of this video, they probably only used the most absurd responses in order to prove their point, and make an interesting video? Who's to say that 90 percent of the people they interviewed called them on their BS? Although, odds are against that, because most people don't know enough to know what they believe in to begin with.

I'm not defending the "Democrats" in the video, most of them weren't able to even articulate or explain what they believe. But if you can't see the err in the presentation of information in these videos you are posting, you shouldn't be allowing them to form opinions on political matters.

go read it. allow me to briefly summarize.

1. your brain will "decide" if it likes a political figure within 1/100th of a second after seeing them based on things that have NO SAY in their policies and beliefs.

2. a huge percentage of people support a certain politician, but do not know his/her beliefs and opinions on major issues concerning almost everything.

let me put this as simply as possible. a study was conducted several years ago where a man went around asking people about who their favorite candidate for the presidency was. the guy would ask questions like "do you like ______ more for their support of ______ (insert policy that the candidate actually OPPOSES), or for their belief that ______ (insert belief that the candidate is AGAINST)".

the people didn't even know that the things they were being asked were complete bullshit and totally against what the candidate believed, yet they answered anyways.

voters are full of shit. politics are full of shit. i'm gonna go fuck my girl now. peace out motherfuckers.

There were 9 posts before you posted. not a single one of them seemed very butthurt unless you take "political threads annoy me" as being butthurt. You are pretty much saying that we can't take a punch because we try to defend our side? What about mr. Romney? Can you at least tell me what he personally believes in?

As someone who studied political science particularly mass media, public opinion, and presidential elections: that video is useless.
 
god I can't wait until this election is done, I'm so sick of listening to people try to voice their opinions on me and everyone else. When the presidential election rolls around it's just terrible everyone thinks they are a political mastermind and that their opinion is the only acceptable one.
