Cascade sUPPERpark

Seriously, all Mt. Hood does is hype their shit so that they can get customers, as they are not really resorts so people dont vacation there much in the winter.

Meadows, maybe you should look at the success of Sammy and then be like hmmm maybe we will get more business if we make our parks good and produce good park skiiers!!!!

That my friends, is why Utah and Colorado make meadows look like a legit joke.

woord. its funny how they always manage to get their name in the big spring shoots too.

last year meadows built up fat tables and step-ups for rage and msp so their name showed up in all the movies gaining meadows huge popularity and recogniion, but then they go and fuck over all the locals during the rest of the season

yep. it's pretty lame.

i'll always love meadows because that's where i grew up skiing, but having skied mammoth all year last year and whistler/blackcomb all year this year, it's pretty obvious how much of a joke meadows' park is. they somehow manage to get in magazines and videos sometimes, but they never actually do anything sick during the winter for the people who actually ski there.

so wait they made it not super this year because of waht some douche did to himself in WA?? YAYYYY i am afraid to hit big jumps and now i can claim that i hit superpark and everyone will be like yeaaaaaaaaaaaa and ill be like yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa i hit that supa park and it was HUGE

last week meadows had built 4, 40 foot tables, all in a row probably 100 feet between each landing and the next lip. Also really weird tables not a single table looked the same, some seemed to be slightly step ups, the whole thing just reeked of a ameature park builder.

Yeah i saw the rollers for it today and they looked really close together and not that big

I'm gonna take a gander and say there will be no superpark this year... and if there is it will be for the May Challenge (however long that may last) only

one table, one hip

it has both and they are actually quite nice. 35 foot table and a hip/ table thats quite large but no one knows if its hittable

im sorry but seriously? everyone is waiting for the super park because its supposed to be "super" not just a park at meadows that is almost comparable to an average/ok/eh park in say colorado, tahoe, or utah

eh id say worse. i like how they also have to specify "cascade park" rather than 'superpark.' implying that it might just be a no go

pretty lame, i talked madd shit in dave's blog for the may challenge. hopefully they post it and dont censor though

I was up there today, here's some photos:

I was also told that Ben Moxham did sw10s both ways over the first table, which I believe judging by how he was throwing down in Rose City.

FUCK THAT! im even more pissed after seeing it. last year that was the regular public park, PLUS the superpark. that shit is so weak. im pissed. I can finally throw atleast some stuff down in the superpark and it just so happens that that is the fucking year they stop the superpark. FUCK THAT! I am absolutely livid! The superpark was so tight because it was huge, no idiots in it, and beautiful.

I must admit that i had fun today.. the jumps are well shaped and the hip is helllla fun. But please open it earlier next weekend (if they open)

prolly. meadows had a pretty good turnout today, yet its also some of their own decisions that'll lead to an early end of the season. how can they expect to fill all their lots when half their lifts are closed and they end each day exactly at three. easy rider wasn't even supposed to be open today, thanks to the remarkable insight of our new general manager, however, the lifties decided to open it up since it makes absolutely no sense to have express as the only lift available for "rose city" park

I can't fix it cuz the tail is just snapped so i gotta get some new sticks. Hopefully I will this week.
