For the last three years, this "mountain" has been moving progressively downhill. Just thought I'd throw this out there, I will not be attending next year. This place is the unwiped butthole of the midwest.

Thank you.

1. Skiers go down hill, i see no problem

2. I thought this thread was made by Allen, before I read who posted it.

3. Who here honestly didn't think of #2 when they read the title?

personally i would nominate buck hill for the butthole of the midwest. havent been to chestnut though

Never been to Buck Hill or Chestnut this season, but last year chestnut was one of the best setup's in the Minnesota, Wisco or Illinois( Except Peak or Troll) they had like a 2 or 3 jump line and this sick tabletop. You can look at pics of everything they have up on their website. Sure beats Cascade anyway. All in all most of the resorts are doing pretty good with the shit weather we've had this year.

I've been riding Cascade since the last year of the superpark and it's sad to watch the motivation in building the park continue to go downhill.. but they do have one jump that is perfect for learning new tricks. I haven't left the place without having a new trick down since they put that jump in.. until tonight cuz of the rain ha but almost got switch rodeos

I went there for spring break this year and wish I would have read this thread before. Cascade truly has no park whatsoever. 2 5 foot jumps and a handful of terrible rails. Cascade is the place for old people who just like groomers.

im sorry but Crystal Ridge is the smelliest unwiped but hole of the midwest it a bunny hill and another run with no jumps at all no park crew and a groomer form the 1800's that breaks down in the middle of the one run they have they have one 15 ft pipe the the old fart for groomer ran over. not only that but a season pass costs 380. and they didnt even open untile january 2 and closed feb 26. and it was a land fill before so that makes it extra shitty

welch is the old hobo's asshair of the midwest. when it comes to park, at least. a few years ago welch rocked socks, with a huge jump line, a quarter, anything you can think of. this year, they put out their shittiest rails and didn't even have a jump. well they had a 'jump' but it was a pile of snow so hit by gapers it was more of a mound. the rails were terrible, they didn't even close this one box after it FELL OVER while a kid was on it. God I hate that place! their staff is not optimal either
