Carving required for cork 5?

I was trying cork 5 today and yes i have looked at other threads drop your sholder and look at your heels but do you need to carve to do it. Does it make it easier.

Carving makes it easier to go more cork, soon. Carving is recommended but not required.

Thanks Ill try that next time I go out .. hopefully gunna be 2 weeks from now and there gunna be a big com so the good park will prolly be closed. Damn it lol

meh... i dont cork, i bio but i never have carved and i go as bioed as you can go so its just a matter of opinion.

no, it definately isnt required, you just have to drop your shoulder a little harder, but a cork 7 is way easier if you are just learning cork

Carving will make it easier to grab forward on your skis, like nose, high mute, or even truck. You can do cork 5's without carving, but you probably will land backseat more and not be able to reach the upper part of your skis. Cork 5 tails you don't really carve for.

sometimes i opposite carve bios... or don't carve them at all. but i never carve the same way as the spin on a bio. that would be silly.
