Carving on rockered skis

their performance is similar to that of a search bar....

but seriously, if you take good care of your edges it's fine. it takes some getting used to and you have to mantain a centered stance. but after a while it feels just like carving on any other ski. just don't look down at your tips flopping all over the place.

dude you can totally carve or rockered skis, they still have a sidecut. i saw a guy on eps the other day on a groomer making like, linked 10 meter radius turns, it was quite the sight...

I have one pair of full-on reverse camber MADE'NS that rail on groomers, so even some full reverse camber skis will ski fine. Reverse sidecut skis are way sketchier on hard pack for turns. Your versatility is gone.

Dude i rock Hellbents everywhere Pow,Park, Groomers, Pipe. They are sick everywhere you just have to getused to the wide waist. the camber doesnt really matter that much in my opinion. you just have to roll the ski over more. i personally think its more fun everywhere.

maybe its late but i laughed so hard at this!!

and ya they should carve fine....I'll tell you for sure next winter when i buy my hellbents ftw!

exactly. I'd been skiing on a 110 waist ski with no camber or edge and I switched to a 90 waist with rocker and an edge and it freaked me out how easily I could hold an edge and carve.

i have gordas, just learn to stand up a little straighter almost like snowblades. they work on groomers and theyll get you back to the lift, which is all ya reallly need.

i agree to that for sure. i do ski hellbents everywhere they arent good in the park per say, although at times they are dope, but in the pow which i am still getting at Mt. Hood, the skis are sick
