When i try to carve into my spins i somehow land on my back. I dont know maybe if i pop it'll help? any pointers

when i carve off i only do it when i want to cork out, so if i were you i wouldnt carve off, unless you want to cork

ya ur automatically dipping your shoulder, so just think about it and jump forward as you spin so you stay level

i dont do it.. i sjut dont think it helps that much..for somehting corked it would help but jsut a normal spin..i wouldnt carve...

yeah only snowboarder carve into spin.

we just need to spin.

unless you want to go off axis or whatever then i have no ability to tell you what to do.

but for regular spin dont carve.

for switch spin carve a bit so you dont catch an edge.

i just switched form snowboarding to skiing but carving into a spin does not help you spin faster it only helps you land on your edge switch so you dont get fucked any ways when i spin when i ski i just put pressure on both of my inside edges wind up and spin

i dont know what you guys are talking about cuz skiers definitely carve off jumps, and it looks dope as hell.

don't listen to these people. keep doing what you are doing, if you don't carve you just look like a fuckin robot.

word. If you spin left, come into the jump like you're going to fly off crooked to the right, then time your carve up the lip so you're pointed straight off the jump when you're leaving the lip, make sure to pop and most importantly keep forward, not back. when i was learning i'd forget to pop and just sort of absorb off the jump and that makes you land on your ass

me too lolz.

I was trying to carve off lips today, and a few times i kind of landed on my side. take way more speed than you think you need, and the don't look down hint is golden. bump i could use some more tips myself. (trying to grab opposite seemed to keep me from going unwantedly corked, why?)

Even snowboarders don't try to carve too hard. More of a slow edge transfer I would say. BRONSON or whatever described it pretty well.
