So basically shits been going off the hook recently and i decided to make a thread to see what you guys think.
First off, Honda is bringing back the NSX. which is nasty. period. boasting a V-10 with cylinder de-activation to run on 5 cylinders when the ten is not needed. nothing new- however its impressive. Anyway heres some computer rendered images of the NSX. There are real pictures which show this shape but its rocking the zebra camo so it is hard to see body lines.
Next, Mitsubishi anounces the 2009 Lancer Ralliart Edition. BOSS. For 24,000 you get the "de-tuned" 4b11t motor pulled from the evo. So basically they are finally going for a competitor to the WRX while the Evo will remain lined up against the STI. Eitherway, SICK.
Speaking of 4b11t's, Hyundai anounced its new model at the new york auto show which will also be using the same 4b11t which is found in the evo as well as the new srt-4 caliber. The 2010 hyundai genesis coupe will boast either a 300 Hp V6 or a 4-cylinder turbo motor which puts out 223 Hp on 93 octane. What so special about this? Some are speculating that this will pick up where the 240 Sx and others like the toyota supra left off in the drift world. The 4-cylinder turbo "budget drifter" has a base retail of only 20,000 with the SE package costing close to 24,000. These prices crush competition as it is being compared to the 350 Z as well as the G35.
anyway, thats whats been on my mind lately hahah. personally i'm super pumped on the Hyundai as i will be picking one up this spring when it is released. I cant wait to throw this thing sideways. =D!!!!!
