if you want to get into cars where would you start like to learn lots of stuff about them and like like all the stuff like engines and body ktis and which models and stuff...where woul di start

i just want to start learning about htem, like about aprts and upgrading cars and stuff, dude im 17 and like if i can get a 3000$ civic hatchback i probbly would, or some cheap car and like start upgrading it as a hobbie

3000 for a car in ok condition is cheap dude. I dont know how much a used car is near you but around here that would be cheap.

take an auto class in school. you can only get a shitty neon or old ass civic for 3 grand, save your money till you get alot then buy a decent car as a base because if you get a shitty one for 3 grand youll spend more money fixing it then pimpin it out.

now that i looked at it again.......you see to really know cars get a job as a machanic bitch... which is you work with the master mechanic he will teach you how to do what...read lots of magazines and shit...dont be one of those kids that knows stats about like 4 cars and think they are the shit

Hey i am into cars as much as skiing/skiboarding.

Dude if you want to learn about cars. take auto mechanics first. 2nd work in a parts store. 3rd go to a speed shop and talk to the guys who work there ask all sorts of questions about motors,swaps,performane,suspention. But once you get started it becomes addictive. here is some pics of my car.

If you do get into modding your car please do me a favor, don't put stupid stickers, retarded spoilers or dumb neon lights on it just put the money that you would spend on that type of garbage in to making ur car faster. trust me you'll that me later.

man, im getting myself an old bmw 323i, like 1983 or something. only about 3000 australian, so thats like 1500 american i think. and those things boot, and are average cost wise to 'hot up'

hmm well i plan on learning about them, and in the future getting something cheap im canadian, so more hten 3000$ but like somehting that i can afford and id think about modifying it id have to learn about that first though
