Carinthia parks 10/11 season

okay you need A LOT less speed than last year to clear the "cliff" on nitro...i sent it like 20 feet too deep today and almost killed myself

Not like you needed a lot of speed last year. That thing is still a death trap.

In related news: For all you kiddies venturing down the Gulch...go as fast as you can into the step-up and speed check between #1 and #2 in the final three pack. Happy holidays!

i started from further up than last year but not much and i just watched the landing disappear beneath me. i landed way the fuck down nitro and barely held it together

Is it just me, or are there wayyy too many crazy "snowboarder" features? Parallel rails, dancefloors to pole jams, WTF? they need to get some skiers on the park crew

tomorrow looks like its going to be greattt weather for skiinggggg. holy shit i might drive 3 hours just for the day, come back by 7 and get drunk for new yearsall i need is someone to tell me to do it

Prospector / Lower Nitro & Inferno are all getting the Snowmaking love as we're rebuilding those section of parks for the weekend.

Heres a post from our Mountain Manager and Lead Terrain Park Builder:

Prospector

/ Lower Nitro: Tear down Monday, pound with snow for a few nights,

rebuild and get the mini pipe going along with the Junkyard. Left to

right: mini pipe, jib pipe, super pipe. In the mean time: Buttercup

build for Saturday, and Inferno construction to begin... Next weekend

things will look mighty different

Also for those of you in College next two Thursdays are $29 Lift Ticket Days along with super cheap deals and concert at the barn. Just show your ID at the window.

I like the jumps in Nitro the other day, great pop but it seemed today that they sort of flattened them out, but Nitro was prime the last couple of days I was having a good time. that new skullcandy feature was siickkkkk

I was dissapointed by the jumps in nitro, they were all flat and the pop was gone!, but mineshaft was pretty dope.

had the best day of my season on Thursday. 45 and sunny. park was dialed. high fived some friends that work there that i don't see often. good times. Love that place.

I'm one of the old guys straight airing everything and getting stoked on 270's. tan planet earth with diesel fuel covered black snow pants and some Rossi S5's. we were into Gulch and Inferno the most that day. no one was over there. so much more fun than Nitro when its packed out with groms who are WAY better than me.

another sickkk day looking to be even better tomorrow

look for me mostly in the afternonon with the ldc china pants (blu/white)

is there any way for someone to buy a discounted lift ticket for mount snow online? i checked liftopia and theres none available for this saturday.. or is there any way someone here can help me get some kind of deal on a lift ticket for mount snow?

Anyone ski yesterday or is skiing today? Trying to decide if the park will be soft enough for a daytrip tomorrow. It rained earlier this week and the website lists the conditions as frozen granular, which sucks

yesterday was pretty fun they got some new snow(nothing major). the snow conditions were great. today was supposed to be real cold so i think tomorrow should be pretty decent

are the jumps in inferno going to change for carinthia open at all? it seems like they are pretty flat, the jumps last year were amazing

im not sure yet, im gonna call them in the morning to ask what the word is. ill be up there on wednesday regardless. i figure tomorrow should be nice enough for them to get everything back in order

ill be up with a crew starting friday. hows the setup looking? approximate size of the inferno jumps?

man i hope this weather doesnt destroy errthang
