yeah so im going to a cardiologist tomorrow and im kinda nervous idk what they usually do to you, but they are gonna test for tachychardia and like try to find out why i sometimes have chest pains. any idea on what they do?

i had to go last year. they'll probably run an EKG first. i have atrial trigeminy which means my heart like...forgets to beat, or beats late or something every 3rd beat. it hurts really bad but there's nothing they can do about it.

my dad's a works in cardiology (field clinical engineer for saint jude medical, which manufactures pace makers and defibrillators) and the will either run an ekg or a tilt table study pending on whats wrong with you, then they may cut you the fuck open and put a little metal thing in your chest, ask for a saint jud device if they do have to, specifically the one which runs off the electrical current in your blood stream, that way they won't have to cut you back open in 10 years and change the battery

that stinks. i cant have dairy products because i get a infection and i shit like no other for weeks every other class

never know, i hope for him he doesn't, but there have been 13 year olds and shit that my dad has seen them put pacemakers into

firstly you will get to take ur shirt off this is the fun part lol, then ekg little sticky cold pads on your chest sit there for 5 minutes or so. probably made to do some exersize normally treadmill again with little pads on your body, a clip on your finder (heart rate monitor), and a reg (bit like a diving reg or snorkle mouth peace) in your mouth monitoring breathin, you may then get a eco scan (like a pregnant person gets every couple of months), and if your really lucky your will get a LPHR (tape, CD or mp3 recorder with again sticky pads on your chest for a day or so to record your heart for a while, you will also be asked to record when u get pains etc so they can compare timings with the recordings). dont worry to much about it bru.
