Yesterday at work I was a little bored and this guy who is working on this project with me was not in the office so I decided to set this card scan thing up for my boss.

Its like a little scanner that you put business cards through. He has at least 500 business cards, so I set this shit up and put a business card through expecting to have to retype everything on the card but somehow it sees the text and knows what it says and puts it in the computer.

Name, email, phone numbers everything.

Its the sickest thing ever. I scanned 500 business cars in like 2 hours.

Maby my life is lame but that was the highlight of my day. Anyone else seen on of these?
 
Oh yeah!! Well to clock in, and out at my work we have a fingerprint reader. You enter your 4 digit number and then put your finger on the finger print scanner and your name pops up on the screen, with a polite greeting. Its so baller,

I worked at a pool that had a pin number and a hand print scanner. And it was a community swimming pool.
 
damnt. Ive never seen one before so i thought it was cool. This dude used to sneak in and clock in during the middle of the night, so they did this i think. I dont know it doesnt make sense to me. More security i guess.
 
at my job i dont clock in, i just say hey man and i sit at the counter for 8 hours. I work at a quiet liquor store its soooo sweet. But man, i wish we had cool high tech shit. Our computers are from like 1995
 
I had a buddy who worked maintaining baseball fields at night and he would clock in by phone. So eventually he would clock in for like 12 hours a night.

He got fired the next week.
 
haha this guy got away with it for awhile i think. They finally noticed his times on the computer, and checked the security cameras. And the boss saw him sleeping in his car in the parking lot...
