Car

if your talking about awd wagons and sedans he would actually be interested in, then audi is better

the wrs is quite sick but i just don't think it's what he's looking for

i mean, unless you put f150's and wrs's in the same category, at which point you would be the douchebag, douchebag

douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag douchebag.................

thought i shoudl say it too

I have a chevy silverado and being new to driving it is a pain because you curb alot of shit (and you get raped at the pump). For 20-30 grand I'd much rather have a good handling sedan but if you insist on a truck or SUV I'd go for an older Avalanche

Get an old jeep cherokee, 4runner, golf country,  or you can buy my truck from me for 4 g's.....2500 bench seat 3/4 tonne 4x4 GMC serria 3500cc engine.

the ZJ? I used to have one. Horrrrrible gas mileage.

Get the WJ. Much better gas mileage with a more powerful engine.

haha how many people would hunt me down if i got a baja.. haha jeep is about 2 go outta business.. o and i didnt get a baja

You mean the WJ. Okay.

I thought you meant the ZJ which went from 1993-1998

The ZJ's look the best in my opinion, but they manage to have a huuge engine with crappy horsepower.

alright

basically

any american truck will blow dick and break down

and give you bad gas milage

suv's = bad gas milage too, but not as bad

basically go Jap

toyota ftw, honda subaru anything jap

americans cant make quality car's

what kind of suby do u reccomend then? like can u still haul and do burnouts and shit? cause my mom has like 2000 sub outback and it cant excellerate for shit

wats ur definition of "bad mileage" because the nissan frontier gets 16-20 and the 4runner gets 20-26 thats not bad

both the zjs and wjs have the same standard I6 engine. sae hp ratings, along with same epa ratings. they had different v8. both series had two v8s to choose from. thge 98 5

9L ZJ is the fastest and imo prolly one of the nicest ever made. The 04 overland with the 4.7LHO is awesome too.

Only the 2wd versions have the 4.0 AMC I6 dude. In the US of A they never made an AWD option with the I6. I think they might have in Europe and Australia, but I'm almost positive they didnt in the US. And getting a 2wd jeep is no better than bringing a minivan to the party..

The AWD ZJ's either had the 5.2L engine, or the 5.9, which was only available on 1998's. Sure, its a powerful engine, but it gets even worse gas mileage than the 5.2 and is only a little more powerful than the 4.7 powertech V8 they have had ever since they came out with the WJ and the Liberty.

ahahahahah the inline6 hasnt been made by amc for a while. tyhe old carb'd version was. you can get the ZJs with the I6 and the 249 (awd) transfer case, its very common, both on laradoes and the limiteds. also i wouldnt say that the niner gets bad mileage, 14 citry and 20 highway, hell thats better tha my 4.0 gets.

i have officially changed my opinion about suburus

my friend was driving me around in his mom's turbocharged forester, and all i can say is, GET ONE OF THOSE

they're less than 30 grand and lots of fun

well if you have to pick betweeen those to pick the ford but dude id get a mishubishi of however you spell it lancer evolution there sick but like 40000 used

there is no way possible that you can recommend a vw over a subaru. first off vw has a monopoly on all the parts so they're expensive as fuck no after market there, 2 vw's require special tools that no other car company uses that are manufactured soley by vw, there are also electric problems with many of them

Its dubbed the AMC because thats who created it. Just like all of the new fords with 5 cylanders have the old Volvo 5 in them. I've never seen a 4x4 jeep with the I6.. I was actually looking for one when I bought my jeep, but all of them that I found were the 2wd. I wanted it because that engine is one of the best ever made and lasts FOREVER. (plus its like a big version of the straight 6 that I had in my beemer, so I understood it better)

14 city 20 highway is waay more than it really gets, at least where its going to be used. My friend has the 98 limited. Hes lucky if he gets 15 or 16 highway.

You gotta remember, those tests were done in Detroit and stuff where its flat as fuck.. Out here in the west and back east where there are actually mountains, the gas mileage ussually goes down dramatically because of the changing pitch and yaw.

I know for a fact that the 4.0 I6 gets more like 20 mpg highway though (accounting for physicial features). I know someone with an Xj and thats about exactly what it gets. I dont know how it would do if it were thrown into a Zj or a Wj.. I'd assume it would do far worse due to the weight of the car + saftey equip.

my niner got 14 city and 20 highway, my beater 93 zj with the I^, yes its 4x4, but itst the 242 TC not the 249 awd, wouldnt want awd drive neways, gets about 12 round town and 21ish highway if i cruise at 65-70. I get good mpgs on the highway, but with 205,000miles on her, she guzzels up the gas round town.

there is a I6 with the np249 awd TC, note the 3 positions on the tc selector lever, versus the 5 on the 242 part time TC
