Car Stuff

Hey Guys,

So I started my own exotic car company, I was looking for some cool people like yourself to take a vote on my company name. We basically do exotic driving experiences, but I want to keep the name pretty generalized in case we start doing rentals and other things.

The poll is listed below, thanks!

A really rich investor in Manhattan.

Below is a list of my current cars:

2015 Nissan GTR Black Series

2015 Chevy Stingray Z51 LT2 Vert

2015 Jaguar F-Type S Roadster

2012 Audi R8 V10 Spyder

2010 Ferrari California

2014 MB E63AMG-S

2015 Porsche C4S GTS Cabrio

2014 MB SL550

Working on:

Gallardo Spyder

Bentley SuperSports/Speed Droptop

F430 Spyder

I have access to a bunch of other cars.

I basically used to run Gotham Dream Cars, if you have ever heard of them. They suck, so I left and started up my own thing... I have a lot of experience in the industry.

We don't offer that service right now. Other companies would charge $750-1500/day depending on a bunch of different factors (V8 vs V10, Coupe vs Spyder, Weekday vs Weekend) and Mileage per day could vary (50mi-100mi). It gets really expensive.

OP think of better name options.

Inspired Exotics

Where does one raise enough capital to start an exotic car company?

Also, Inspired exotics sounds like a mail order bride site.

You guys operate out of manhattan / tri state area? I work in IB in NYC and I know a ton of people who would love to do this for a day who have lot of extra cash laying around to blow

Yeah that's crazy expensive. I assumed it would go up proportionally based on the value of the vehicle... if it costs $80/day to rent a $55,000.00 luxury car, it would cost $200 / day or something for a supercar of that sort. Apparently not.

Not quite, Hertz has to compete against 20 other rental companies in the same area for the same type of vehicle. We compete with 2-3. Limited selection jacks up the price. On top of that, liability, insurance and things of that nature are very expensive. You also have to consider maintenance costs-- rental cars are abused. On top of that, mileage depreciation. A 20,000 mile Mustang is not the same as a 20,000 mile R8.

If you asked for the Corvette...that would be more like $250-395. But not unlimited mileage.

Yes I am in the tri-state area I operate out of NYC and LI as well as NJ, PA, MA and surrounding areas. I PM'd you my #.

Yeah, that's fair. I've been kicking around the idea of buying one and I'd considered finding a local company (of which there are like, two) that could let me drive one around for a while. But for that money, it might honestly be cheaper to just ask the guy who lives two doors down from me if I can borrow his for a weekend and shoot him $1000.

J.D -- Tough to find someone with an exotic who is willing to take on the liability for a grand... they don't need the money.

I get to enjoy the cars. I have hundreds of hours/miles behind the wheel.

I hope you get to enjoy countless of vagina's from driving these cars. If you don't I will pee in your butt.
