I want to buy a new receiver for my car because my old one is done. I listen to a lot of music but do not know a lot about this stuff. If anyone is knowledgeable about this kind of thing could you shoot me a message.

Haha, well I used to be way into car audio, like the whole back of my car was fiberglass, and still to this day I wont put any head unit in my car unless its an Alpine. Best signal to noise ratio, best ipod connectivity, best everything. Even a low end alpine will be better than almost anything else out there.

I have an alpine in there now and it has been fantastic but is pushing five years and needs to be replaced.
