k my friend offered to sell me his dodge daytona iroc 3.0 V6, not the typical crap daytona. considering it, also considering mustang gt, corvette stingray or 80's corvette, dodge stealth rt turbo.

You will be hard pressed to find a car like that on your budget. And at 16 your insurance will be so incredibly high. Also parts and gas will cost a ton.

Personally, I'd recommend getting a nice honda or toyota or something.

again.. i recommend the jeep cherokee, not bad on gas, w/in ur price range, decent insurance, four wheel drive, spacious, easy to fix and last a long time.

Of that list I would say get the truck.

If you are not going to be paying your insurance then I would go with the Stealth RT

I only point out insurance because like everyone said it's gonna be huge. When I was looking for cars I really had my mind set on a MkIII Supra, so I did the insurance on it, and it was something like six grand a year (or a half a year, I don't remember) to insure me, so that made me say no to the Supra for a bit.

As a few other options, I would look into some Jeeps, Honda's, Toyota's(trucks not cars) or if you want old school cars, get an old firebird or trans-am or the like, they will be cheaper to insure then the vette' probably, but provide just as much entertainment.

IF this is gonna be your only car you don't want a rear wheel drive sports car. Their fun yes but they're awful in the snow. The trans am or corvette or daytona are all gonna be awful come winter. If you're gonne get a winter beater to haul yer skis around in and stuff then go for it and get something fun but remember winter weather when you're buying a car. and look at the other thread from last week some people made some good suggestions in there.
