90,000 miles

good condition..

guy wants $8,300

KBB.com has it for like $10,900 in excellent condition soo it seems like a sweet deal... yay or nay

theyre some of the cheapest cars on the market, and hold theyre vaule just as well.

(honda has the best residual value of any other car manufacturer)

the american auto industry is dying.

Huyndai, honda, and toyota are kickin ass.

import car makers can create a car from start to finish (design/concept to production) in about 9 months, it takes americans almost 1 and a half years.

AND

import cars are the ones you can buy cheap as hell, get huge amounts of mpg, and last forever (most of the time)

8,000 is really steap though.

90k miles, '02...id only go as high as 6500, and thats for a seriously good condition car.

i have a '98 civic lx sedan by the way. its ok, nothing spectacular. got 140K on it, runs perfect, havent done any work on it either. rear breaks went- didnt pass inspection- at around 130k though (from the E-brake slides i think)

dont' be so down on the US car industry, it's more perception than fact that imports have inherently better quality, cheaper, better fuel economy, etc. Anybody who's looked into buying a truck know's how overpriced Tacoma's are, or any used Toyota for that matter. ON that note, some import cars are sick, I'd shy away from this one though, seems expensive for the amount of miles on it

im the guy who supports small conservative cars that get good gas milage.

i know how important big ass trucks are though, i use one everyday and beat the crap out of it (i work for a construction company...its a ford, oh yea) its still running like a champ and thats something asains cant do (or dont put money into)

with all this flex fuel/bio-diesel talk and how they are making trucks with it, its a little better.

yup. i got an 01 vdub gti with that many miles. more space, far better car, and A SHITLOAD faster. it had a junk clutch thou. swaped it out with a new 3.2 clutch/flywheel, saved 7 lbs, added almost an inch of diameter, and it was only like 700 installed.

either way, thats alot for a accord or whatever. those arepretty borring cars

DON'T BUY A CIVIC! That is one of the lamest cars you can possibly get, I'm pretty sure you're required to put on a 6" exhaust tip-it has to sound like absolute shit too, a 2' wing, and slather it in cheesy vinyl decals if you ever have the misfortune of owning one. You can find a much better car for that price, so I would recommend searching around a bit more.
