Car Question

For gods sake thank you. You actually use logic and reason and arent trying to rip on a stranger by twisting his words to make your self look cool. so to all others GO FUCK YOUR SELFS.

I am buying a Bmw 318i 5 speed tomorrow so you can all shut the fuck up

I wanted my car in 5 speed, but couldn't find it. I also wanted my car with quattro, even more rare. So I just went with what I could find. Auto, 2WD. But I'm still happy with it.

go for the auto-

1)its better in traffic if you live in the city

2)you can hang you arm out the window

3)you can eat, drink and drive at the same time

4)its easier to drive under the influnce

I refused to buy a car with an automatic. I went dealer shopping, said "Show me your manual cars." The first car we showed up at was an automatic. I didn't say a word, just turned around and left.

I ended up in a 96 Impreza. AWD, 5speed, 2door. FUN.

Skiers should drive 5 speeds, if you have any idea what you're doing, they have quite a bit more control. Plus it forces you to pay more attention to your driving, which is always a good thing.

Now when you can shift, drive, and eat a foot long sub at the same time in a stick car, you know you're a good driver.

Spend the time, get a stick. The ability to downshift and swerve has kept me out of many accidents.

NO

1)i dont live in a city, i live in vermont

2)you cant do that in a standard?

3)get good at driving standard/ knee steering

4)one more reason to buy a standard, i dont wanna be driving around all crunked up

id get which ever you think you would be happier with, but depending on the gears and how much you have to shift if your in town can take the fun out of it if your trying to do something besides drive- ipod, radio, phone, etc

actually that statement depends a lot on the driver. i drive a rwd car with no traction control and i have yet to have snow problems. go out driving in a snowy parking lot or something and learn how to control the car. its fun and will help you become a better driver. in reality if you can drive decently a fwd car and a rwd car will be almost equal in the snow. awd and 4wd own but ive seen many fwd cars stuck or go sliding off the road.

definately wait it out and get the manual

the paying attention to driving thing is completely true and i think the fact that my dads bmw is a 5speed is the only reason that i never got a ticket when i drove it.

now i have a 5 speed 86 4runner and it kicks ass. manual 4wd and high/low locking differential means this beast will never get stuck in snow.
