at was snowing real hard last night and i came around a corner and the car whipped right out so i countersteared it and the car would not stop fish tailing (black ice ) and i was doing this for about 30 sec (long time) cause it wouldent stop and the fish tails got so big that it whipped around backwards and the brakes were doing shit all and from there i went right into the ditch sucks ass the rear bumper is fucked over and the trunk will not open (parents car to )
 
sorta of the same thing happened to me but it resulted in my truck vs. the tree. My front bumper got fucked but other than that it was okay.
 
what kind of car, just curious. I dont got ABS in my neon so you go to know how to drive you car. 30 seconds is a long time, just sit here and stare at a clock for 30 sec, no way you were skidding for that long, and if you were how could you not get control?
 
my gf did a front flip with a 360 and landed on the top of her car at 45. that was fucking scary, i watched it in the rearview mirror. she was fine but these roads we drive every day are worse than we think. true believer in safety first now.
 
If you couldn't gain control after 30 seconds of fishtailing you really shouldn't be driving at all. If it takes you more than two corrections to fix it you really need to work on your snow driving skills.
