Car backflips!

Actually, we have that racing here in America. It's called ALMS and then you also have a couple of other types that basiclly are that type of car. The first one, yes was in Europe and it was a Merc CLK-GTR. beautiful car. The second one was a million dollar Porsche that I believe flipped at Road Atlanta a while ago.

well ok this is true but you can't catch these races on TV very easily because nascar dominates the racing scene here.

i watched american le mans every week this summer...its on the speed channel in the mornings. just like MotoGP races, they are on pretty early, like 7 or 8 am

You don't get speed channel, do you.

I agree NASCAR does dominate American racing because it is a huge business, which while it has it's merits, the only reason I personally watch it is for the crashes. I prefer road racing/Rally/ or Drift, so most of the time it's difficult for me to find something to watch but occasionally you'll get some good F1 action on regular TV and then you have the Rolex 24 to look forward too every year.

I agree, I want to go down to it sometime, my dad used to go every year with his buddies but then he could stay up the whole race and decided to stop. so now it's my turn to go with my friends. I usually make it to the LeMans race at MidOhio though, it's sick to watch the R10's dominate everything.

i went to the one in montreal last season and im gonna go again this season. id love to go to the 24 hours of le mans. fuck how would you even go about getting tickets

i respect that you dont like it, but you also must understand there is alot that goes into racing NASCAR, like strategy, pit crews, how the engine is set up, and so on...

The guy does have a point, but i like how it was in the late sixtys where it was actully model cars buffed up to race. How American stock car really started out was bootleggers running away from the police..I read in hot rod magazine they were thinking about putting a new age stock car race together where there would be classes, unlimited of course, being the highest class. that would be pretty dope to see late model camaros and mustangs and chargers facing eachother, even in CANAM or what ever its called, another thing i sort of thought about was like if there was a way to buff a car up to handle motocross like tracks, and then race them on things like that

Nascar is the most rediculous shit ever. All you do is watch cars go in a circle for six hours. and its probably not really helping the global climate either.

Yeah, but imagine doing all that stuff-----------with corners! Or with corners and dirt! You can argue the "complexity" of NASCAR all you want, but in the end it's really just an over-simplified version of real racing.

But back on topic, those videos were sick! That second guy almost had the backflip, he just needs to spot his landing better.

They actually drive ovals. If they went in circles, they would only go left. But they go left, than straight, than left again. You get the point.

Also, F1 pwns all. So does WRC, but they don't show that in the states anywhere either.

rally and rally cross.. im so pissed that speed dropped the wrc and replaced it with nascar.. speed has lost all its credibility after that
