Car Amplifier (hifonics)

It's made by Maxxsonics. Same as Crunch. I've got a Crunch 800watt amp for 60 bucks and it's pretty decent. Makes my 10" Alpine hit pretty hard when I want it to. The thing I wish I had was the remote bass booster, since not all my music is good with loud bass, which it looks like this has. My brother actually just got a 1200 Watt peak Crunch to power his 15" Crunch woofer, and it's pretty ridiculous. I can't give a proper review on that though as he's also running 2-12s at 800 watts along with it, you can tell with the low notes coming from the 15" though...
There doesn't seem to be a max power output, which worries me a bit, either it's got a lot of power, or not much more than 1200. You'll probably need to have a pretty high rated sub to run this...
Either way, before I make a recomendation, what are you trying to power?

thanks for the reply man

uh im running a shit sub for now but later on i will be gettin some sort of 15 inch sub with dual coil 2 ohms

something around there

but just something to run my clarion a little harder than it already does

there is a lil vid of a water trick with the one i got now

its a 400 watt clarion amp

"shit sub" isn't the detailed answer I needed to make a legitimate answer. But I'm not going to recommend you use that amp with "shit sub" if it's not rate for at least 1200watts. You should get a good subwoofer first and underpower it, then buy an amp to match. It's much better to underpower than overpower a subwoofer.

hifonics used to be good
although i think maxxsonics makes kind of low end equipment now a days if i recall......more for best buy i guess you could say or something.
i think you'll be fine. i took car stereos way too seriously and wasted too much cash on great amps, they were great, but im sure you will be fine.
im using a 6 year old directed 1500d amp that does actual about 1200w @ 12.8v

wire the 1200w amp to 4 ohm if your putting it on a shitty sub, and dont crank it.
