Capitalism: A Love Story

moores shit always makes me go.... oh i get it. but than i listen or read an INTELLIGENT counter-argument from someone who really knows whats up, and in MY opinion it always blows moores shit out the window.

i see what your saying.its really hard to figure out where you stand on an issue when youre looking at or listening to a completely one sided argument.

hahaha. i mean i find the dude very amusing. but they are some pretty damn biased movies.

Wow, I couldn't agree more on your point of view, but i'm from Europe so I guess I don't know shit about the US situation anyway.

Where I'm from, the progressive income taxes range from 39%-59% plus an additional 8% in Labor Market Contribution. Still, I'm confident with paying half of what I earn to the system, just so I can live safe and don't have to witness the amount of poverty and crime that appears in various areas of the US, and at the same time being able to receive medical treatment without having to bring all my financial savings. And yes, still I feel free.

But I guess that this is the typical european socialistic bullshit that'll never find it's way in to the common american materialistic self-perception of "living out the dream", and hence the generalization; pardon me if on totally off the track here.

Michael Moore is a biased moron, but ultimately he couldn't be more right.

wow people really miss the point...
"He's selling his movies and making money, that's capitalism. What a hypocrite!"
if the movies weren't released to theaters, they would miss a massive audience and whatever message he's trying to convey would be lost. at least to the majority of movie goers?

in fairness to that point, he has said himself theres nothing hed like more than to be put out of buisness when his fans stop supporting the massive conglomerates that produce, market, etc his movies.
