yea homie, i saw that today.... the tree jib is straight silly... def dont want to guniea pig that, and I saw one of the park crew bombing at the last jump, must have taken it 100 ft, such a long landing.... looking so sweet, whats the word on when we can hit that, i really want to hit those cross jumps next to the tree, not sure about that thing yet

looking at it from the bottom it doesnt look that bad, that picture does make it look like it could kill you though.

just because canyons builds a super park for 3 days does not mean they are anywhere close to PC. Remember all, PC gave us a park in november, canyons didnt get their "big" park fully up till mid feb. But this new super park looks super fun / scary. I dont personally know PC management so I cant say anything, but there have been 3 fun parks up pretty miuch all year, even though they've had problems they've been extremely fun. Stop the PC Hate just because its the "cool thing to do" this year in Utah.

Gnarly!

After skiing both parks, i have to say that while pc has its flaws its much easier to progress and offers a way more wide variety of features. canyons was super fun and i;m def gonna be back up there, but the landings on the big jumps are damn flat for step downs. both mountains are sick tho!

stop the canyons hate, its been the cool thing to do for the last few years, even though they never deserved it.

ill agree with the second part, pc management and employees (most of them) are gay. PC its self as a mountain is not.

Although Canyons stepped up big time this year, they are still not close to Park City in terms of jumps. The Canyons has some of the most fun rails I have hit all year, but their jumps have fairly poppy lips, narrow takeoffs, and flat landings. Their landings are flatter on a good day than PC's are on their worst day.

as much as i want to talk crap on both the canyons and pc for there very subtle flaws.......right before i want to open my mouth and do so, i think of the 200 foot vertical hill i skied at in wisconsin two years ago for the majority of my life, for those of you that think that "pc sucks, there THREE parks are never changing" take a 20 hour drive east on 80 and then open your mouth. people talk too much crap on parks out here, you want a crappy park, go back east and stop talking shit on a dope mountain and park.

heres a link to more pictures on my facebook. skip past the first ones, those are other ski related things, but they are on there.

the canyons' facebook status says upper respect will be open and lower respect will be closed for photoshoots. not sure what that means, but i'm guessing those jumps are in lower?

THe canyons webpage and canyons park crew are sometimes on different pages. I talked to steve on monday, and the step down with the log jib will probably not be open to the public, but the table at the bottom should be. thats what i heard last, but things could have changed since monday. il be there tomorrow though.

canyons big park run down.... jumps at bottom will never be opened to public. Told this from ski patrol and a park dude. Also for the snowboard photoshoot 50 pros were there, only 10 actually hit the jumps. They made shit overly gnarly. Supposedly someone got real hurt too.
